This book was released on 2024-01-02 with total page 0 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Whomsoever Allah wants to bestow His grace and mercy, He fills his heart and mind with pearls of wisdom and guidance. Many stories of coming from darkness to light are scattered in the pages of Islamic history. This book is the autobiography of the famous Arab scholar Shaykh Muhammad b. Jamil Zeno, who responded to a request from a Turkish student of knowledge that wanted to know more about the Shaykh's life. It is a completely different and unique memoir compared to the common stories. Shaykh Muhammad b. Jamil Zeno has embellished his narrative with the beauty of strong and irrefutable arguments from the Quran and Sunnah so that every reader can be completely satisfied with his rationalisation. The story of the Shaykh's life is written in such an interesting way that the reader gets lost in it during the study to the extent that he is traveling with the Shaykh himself to different places in different Islamic countries. Additionally, the purpose of publishing this book is that someone who is lost may walk on the right path.
Book Synopsis Tawhid and Shari'ah by : Masudul Alam Choudhury
Download or read book Tawhid and Shari'ah written by Masudul Alam Choudhury and published by Springer Nature. This book was released on 2020-11-30 with total page 273 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: This book invokes the Tawhidi ontological foundation of the Qur’anic law and worldview, and is also a study of ta’wil, the esoteric meaning of Qur’anic verses. It presents a comparative analysis between the Tawhidi methodology and the contemporary subject of Shari’ah. Masudul Alam Choudhury brings about a serious criticism of the traditional understanding of Shari’ah as Islamic law contrary to the holistic socio-scientific worldview of the unity of knowledge arising from Tawhid as the law. A bold repudiation of the Islamic traditional understanding and the school of theocracy, Choudhury’s critique is in full consonance with the Qur’an and Sunnah. It is critical of the sectarian (madhab) conception of relational independence of facts. Thus the non-creative outlook of Shari’ah contrasts with universality and uniqueness of Tawhid as the analytically established law explaining the monotheistic organic unity of being and becoming in ‘everything’. This wide and strict methodological development of the Tawhidi worldview is articulated in this work. The only way that Tawhid and Shari'ah can converge as law is in terms of developing the Tawhidi methodology, purpose and objective of the universal and unique law in consonance with the ontology of Tawhid. Such a convergence in the primal ontological sense of Tawhid is termed as maqasid as-shari'ah al-Tawhid.

Download or read book Education in the Light of Tradition written by Jane Casewit and published by World Wisdom, Inc. This book was released on 2011 with total page 180 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: "'Education systems are failing their societies' is the message often conveyed by families and young people to governments and media today. The dismal state of a country's education system is said to be a reflection of the condition of the society it is meant to serve. What are we teaching young people today? Do we understand what they need to learn for their ultimate well being? In traditional societies, education was the means by which knowledge of the Divine Principle and its relation to the human soul was transmitted to young generations. Addressing a theme rarely discussed in philosophical and educational circles, this unique volume attempts to rediscover the truths and values engrained in traditional education systems. Some of the articles also go to the heart of the woes of modern public education systems."--Publisher's website.

Download or read book Meta-Science of Tawhid written by Masudul Alam Choudhury and published by Springer. This book was released on 2019-07-23 with total page 438 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: This book explores the methodological foundation of Islamic thought premised on the cardinal principle of Tawhid, meaning the Oneness of God as the universal law. The consequential methodological worldview arising from the monotheistic unity of knowledge is explained as the theory of consilience, meaning unity of knowledge as the primal ontological reality leading to its epistemological and phenomenological essentials of reasoning and thereby configuring reality. Masudul Alam Choudhury presents a non-mathematical exposition of the theory and applications of Meta-Science of Tawhid, and brings out the essential monotheistic methodological worldview of science.

Yet despite similar traditions, there is a lack of unity because of an inaccurate understanding of Imam Ali ibn Abi Talibs vision and mission among many Muslims. In Know and Follow the Straight Path: Finding Common Ground between Sunnis and Shias, author Tallal Alie Turfe, a champion of religious tolerance, explores the Quran and traditions to find the common ground and common principles between the Islamic schools of thought. He is a strong advocate of intrafaith dialogue that offers the chance for better understanding, collaboration, and partnership among all Muslims. This book is a road map for Muslims to trek the path of truth and certainty in the hope their efforts will lead to a genuine unity as they celebrate their differences as windows of opportunities. As they uproot ignorance with knowledge, they will learn to cooperate with each other. The pledge to unity must begin within themselves, within their families, within their communities, and with each other. Know and Follow the Straight Path: Finding Common Ground between Sunnis and Shias provides the whys and hows necessary to winning that unity.
