Plus feel free to email me if you have any questions or need any help. This horse racing system took me approximately 12 months to computer model and test primarily around UK handicap horse races. This would have not been possible without my 10 years database of horse form and my I.T. computer skills. Handicap horse racing fascinates me I find it a great puzzle to solve and love form variables like weight, official rating and many more. This horse racing system has four simple steps that find winners daily and I have outlined tips to get more profit. I like using this system for betting singles and doubles which are lethal and produce massive profits! In the book I have covered a horse race in extensive detail so that you understand the system and how to apply the horse racing system to each race quickly and thus finding winners easily.

Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: The Gambler Who Cracked the Horse-Racing Code Bill Benter did the impossible: He wrote an algorithm that couldn't lose at the track. Close to a billion dollars later, he tells his system. This book examines the elements necessary for a practical and successful computerized horse race handicapping and wagering system. Data requirements, handicapping model development, wagering strategy, and feasibility are addressed. A logit-based technique and a corresponding heuristic measure of improvement are described for combining a fundamental handicapping model with the public's implied probability estimates. The author reports significant positive results in five years of actual implementation of such a system. This result can be interpreted as evidence of inefficiency in pari-mutuel racetrack wagering. This paper aims to emphasize those aspects of computer handicapping which the author has found most important in practical application of such a system. Also included the Bill Benter "What Are My Odds?" Presentation at ICCM in 2004.

Book excerpt: I wrote this book after getting numerous questions from both experienced and occasional horse players regarding horse racing systems or handicapping tips they wanted when they would visit the local race track.Let's face it, if you are going to spend a day at the track, you'd rather come out a few bucks ahead then making the typical “donation”.The first question I ask anyone looking for advice is “What is your expectation?” By that I mean so you want to walk into the track with $50 and leave with a remarkable return of 10-50%, or do you want to walk in with $50 and leave with 10 times that amount? If your answer is the 10-50% return, then this is the book for you. I do have a jackpot system, but that is a different book.Horse racing betting can be confusing, but my system makes it simple and easy for anyone to use.So to all you conservative players. looking to have some fun and earn a smart return let's get started!

Book excerpt: I graduated from University with a computer science degree many years ago when a degree meant something! I was always interested in horse racing and was fascinated in solving the UK horse racing form puzzle. I started my own computer business in my early 20’s where I made good money and travelled across Europe. It was at this point in my life I decided to start a horse tipping business where I had weekly full page colour adverts in the Racing Post at £2K per advert and offices. I left the running of this horse tipping business to staff who were responsible for all parts of the business while I concentrated on my computer business. In my late 30’s around 1990 I decided to use my computer skills to computerise and model UK horse racing form using a database built with 10 years of detailed horse racing form. It was over a period of 2 years that I concentrated my efforts on UK handicap races in conjunction with the betting exchange Betfair. This is where I believed maximum profit could be gained. The computer model allowed me to process 100’s of handicap races per day and then formulate my system tweeking a horse’s weight and BHB or OR ( Official Rating ). I must confess this was a difficult puzzle to crack even with a computer program that I wrote to crunch the data. I eventually found the correct weight and BHB rating for a horse based on it’s last performances in handicap races. This eBook outlines this system and can be manually applied easily using the Racing Post on the internet.

His other method involves a fascinating angle on college basketball. In fact, this method does not involve handicapping teams at all. You are handicapping the betting public, so you don't need to be an expert to use this system. There are plenty of examples that allow you to follow this method in step-by-step fashion. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: In 1956, two Bell Labs scientists discovered the scientific formula for getting rich. One was mathematician Claude Shannon, neurotic father of our digital age, whose genius is ranked with Einstein's. The other was John L. Kelly Jr., a Texas-born, gun-toting physicist. Together they applied the science of information theory—the basis of computers and the Internet—to the problem of making as much money as possible, as fast as possible. Shannon and MIT mathematician Edward O. Thorp took the "Kelly formula" to Las Vegas. It worked. They realized that there was even more money to be made in the stock market. Thorp used the Kelly system with his phenomenally successful hedge fund, Princeton-Newport Partners. Shannon became a successful investor, too, topping even Warren Buffett's rate of return. Fortune's Formula traces how the Kelly formula sparked controversy even as it made fortunes at racetracks, casinos, and trading desks. It reveals the dark side of this alluring scheme, which is founded on exploiting an insider's edge. Shannon believed it was possible for a smart investor to beat the market—and William Poundstone's Fortune's Formula will convince you that he was right.

Book excerpt: The title of this book is a bold statement and one cannot really state this unless you put your money were your mouth is!I have written many books around UK horse racing systems and this one I really enjoyed due to the simplicity of this horse racing system and how easy it is to apply. The system uses the excellent free racing post website where you can obtain all the form data you need to use this system. Plus you do not have to be a form expert to understand it.I personally think horse racing pundits make heavy weather of horse racing form, i.e. looking at a horse's breeding and many other factors. I think this information just confuses the average punter.I have added a special bonus horse laying system in this book and I think you will enjoy it!This laying system is so easy to follow you will look back at all the bets you have placed in the past and wonder how did I get it so wrong! Yes it will hurt knowing how much money you lost when you should have not.Moving back onto the horse backing system, picking winners will be very easy for you and even more you will gain confidence and control in your betting. This horse racing system normally picks 2 to 3 horses per day in UK handicap horse racing markets. You should aim at using Betfair to place your bets due to the better prices and in-play tactic I will show you in this book.Understand the system before placing bets, I hope you enjoy it!

The system is so simple to follow that punters who have busy lives can apply this system very quickly and accurately. The system uses the free racing post on the internet so there are no further costs. The book is priced to refelect 'seeing the light' many punters are in the dark!

Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Discover the irresistible allure of horse racing and the thrill of winning. This invaluable book shares a proven, easy to learn system that you can use to beat the odds and win big at the racetrack. It helps you determine which horse to pick and what size your wager should be based on tote board data, and it reveals strategies for maximizing your winnings. With clear writing and entertaining real-world examples, authors William Ziemba and Donald Hausch explain the fundamentals of track racing and show how patterns of public inefficiency in betting pools can lead to you reaping big payoffs. Rather than focusing on the complicated details of thoroughbred handicapping, the groundbreaking "Dr. Z" system offers mathematical models based on stock-market analysis. After their initial scientific analysis of historical data from past races, the authors verified their betting method by testing it with real bets--and it worked. It teaches you when to bet and what a good bet is, and advises how much to wager based on your betting stake. When properly applied, the method's average profit per dollar wagered is about 10%. Using it, you will be able to minimize risk and increase your winnings. "This book is for people who want to win. The gambling system it presents is one of the few I have ever seen that I think really works. I am convinced enough to bet my own money on it." Edward O. Thorp, from the book's introduction
