Proteins are needed for every person because they are essential in order to make our body function well. An adult needs about 45 to 60 grams of proteins a day. This amount increases if a person exercises regularly. Also, the amount of calories a day increases if you practice some sport or exercise every day. Protein shakes use different types of protein in varying amounts. They may include: milk, whey, casein, egg, soy, rice and so on. The source of the protein and how it's purified during manufacturing may affect how well your body can use it. There are many recipes which include food rich in proteins but also you can use protein powders in order to make protein shakes.
