This collection includes an essay about his first pastorate and the love of a place called Brushy Run, West Virginia. He has included in this volume a Christian family love poem (that tells a story) in “Just One.” He also has listed about thirty maxims in this book. Brother L. H. Swiger has written approximately 580 Christian poems thus far (of these he has selected approximately seventy-seven for this book). He was born in the country, raised in the country, and has a deep lasting love of nature and family, which reflects in his poetry. He doesn’t profess to be a great poet, but he is anxious to share with others what God has given him, in poetry.
