It is not an exaggeration to say that Burright history is American history. Chapter 1 covers the Burright family before Cornelius Burright, who was perhaps the first Burright. Each of these chapters includes a list of descendants to the fifth generation (with Cornelius Burright being the first generation). The author writes about how he used several DNA testing companies to find hundreds of Burright cousins throughout the United States and, perhaps, Norway. Finally, the author added a name index of more than 20 pages to help direct readers to where he discusses their ancestors and cousins in the book.
