Download or read book Heart and Soul written by Johnny B and published by Dorrance Publishing. This book was released on 2024-05-01 with total page 115 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: My name is John Peter Blaul. I was born on August 26, 1949, around 10:00 AM. My buddies call me John or Johnny, my kids and grandkids call me Dad or Boompa. My eldest (Peter) when he was going on two years of age couldn’t say grandpa—it came out Boompa. The story was passed on and the name stuck. My story doesn’t start on August 26, 1949, it dates back as far back as my elders could remember. All of them liked to tell their family history and wanted to pass them on to the next generation. Henry John Blaul, my grandfather, was particularly instrumental in keeping a family tree and history. When I was 24-years-old he sent me a family tree of the Blaul and Farley families. He was 81-years-old at the time.

Joining him are his privileged wife, his attorney, the shrewd political pro who serves as his chief of staff, his brilliant policy wonk and Cutter, his quixotic wordsmith and confidante. Book Synopsis FATHER TO THE FATHERLESS by : Myama Myowne
Download or read book FATHER TO THE FATHERLESS written by Myama Myowne and published by Xlibris Corporation. This book was released on 2010-04-19 with total page 166 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Thousands of children and teenagers in the United States are growing up in homes where one or both biological parents are missing in action. The results of absent parents are far-reaching and truly devastating for the future of our homes and our families. Myama Myowne knows this fact all too well. She’s lived it. She’s experienced the impact. And she has a testimony that she wants to share. The truth of not having her father around when she needed him was painful. But God had other plans for her future. It included giving her the opportunity to see Him as the Father she never had and also gave her the ability to see the substitute father figures that He brought into her life at critical times in her development as the “fathers” she needed as well. The book you hold in your hands tells the story of what happens when God intervenes and changes the future. It not only tells Myama’s story. It also shows the important role we all play in changing the present realities of many youth that need the love of one or both parents that may be missing from their lives. This much-needed book is meant to make a difference in the climate of our families, neighborhoods, and cities.
