I have corresponded extensively and searched records, so as to give a connected Sketch of his eventful life, from his birth to the day of his death. My object has been to snatch from oblivion and garner up the most remarkable events in the life of a most remarkable man, so that the present generation may be well informed of the true character of one of our most patriotic Major Generals in the American Revolution.
