Book excerpt: Excerpt from Gazetteer of Hampshire County, Mass: 1654-1887 In presenting to the public the "Gazetteer and Business Directory" of Hampshire county, we desire to return our sincere thanks to all who have kindly aided in obtaining the information it contains, and rendered it possible to present it in the brief space of time in which it is essential such works should be completed.
