Growing up during the Happy Days of the 1950 era in sunny Los Angeles, California, we listened to Judy sing Somewhere Over The Rainbow knowing in our hearts we would find our pot of gold someday. Similar to the dreams of American pioneers traveling west in their covered wagons to California in search for gold, many spiritual pioneers are making a new journey in a different direction.

Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: In September 1869, two young speculators, Jay Gould and Jim Fisk, Jr., undertook perhaps the most audacious financial operation in American history - the cornering of the national gold supply. Fisk and Gould manipulated prices to the point that legitimate commerce froze to a halt. When the federal Treasury finally broke the corner on Black Friday, September 24, the price of $100 gold coin fell from $160 to $130 in fifteen minutes, sparking a national financial panic, a stock market depression, and the bankruptcy of major trading houses. The scandal reached the very household of President Ulysses Grant, and only the intervention of their friend, Boss Tweed of Tammany Hall, saved Fisk and Gould from personal ruin.

This book was released on 2018-03-07 with total page 338 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Dream Quest reveals a series of vivid lucid dreams that foretell the future and delve into the nature of being. The dreams happened as described, although they are presented within the context of a fictionalized trek that is set on the slopes of New Hampshire's Mount Major. Alexander and his companions Verity and Futura eventually find refuge from the night's chill within Madame Leonedria's grotto. Therein, his dreams about the future, human nature, and reality are discussed in depth. Alexander felt both cursed and blessed by these remarkable events, for the gift that allowed him to find a metaphysical path to God's door slowly began consuming his mind. Indeed, the condition that sparked his visions degenerated Alexander's brain, and his memories are now fading. However, the experiences were recorded long ago, and they leave a message that might change your life. This is far more than a book about spirituality or morality. This is a quest for purpose.

Book Synopsis Unbelievable: A Memoir by Henry Goldring (2018 Edition) by : Henry Goldring
Download or read book Unbelievable: A Memoir by Henry Goldring (2018 Edition) written by Henry Goldring and published by Dog Ear Publishing. This book was released on 2018-12-10 with total page 308 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: “UNBELIEVABLE” was first published in 2010. It was the second in what is now a trilogy of memoirs; first being a one-person autobiographical musical titled, “AND NOW, FOR MY NEXT LIFE” which was presented in Los Angeles at The Zephyr Theatre in 1992. The second is this book. And now a third offering; a new 5-character musical titled “UNBELIEVABLE, but true” which is (at this printing) in the beginning stages of production. The most difficult part of writing my life story in any form is acknowledging there is no logical ending because my journey is ongoing. But what has ended is my search for resolution or “closure.” Closing a book and slamming a door doesn’t make the hurt go away. It forces you to write a new chapter or enter a new room. It is called evolving. One specific benchmark of my evolution was changing my name from “Steven Henry Goldring” to “Henry Goldring.” I never liked “Steven” with its sibilant “s” Sissy-Steve connotation. And because my grandfather (and namesake) Henry Perilstein was truly the one person in my world who showed me unconditional love, deleting the source of childhood bullying and honoring my grandfather was a tangible path forward. And finally accepting the deep-seated truth of who I am has set me free. As you read this 2nd Edition of the 2nd Installment, please remember… JUST BECAUSE I’M DIFFERENT FROM YOU, DOESN’T MEAN I’M NOT NORMAL TOO. I MUST REALIZE, THERE’S NO TRUTH IN DISGUISE. I MUST BE TRUE TO MY HEART, MY FRAGILE… BROKEN… PERFECT… HEART.
