Ground water levels are highest of the 7 year record. On the Columbia Basin a normal decline of 2 to 7 in ches of water were measured. On the Kootenai Basin several of the higher courses showed an increase in water content. Heavy flows during April have eased the critical situation. The Flathead Basin has 20 to 30 per cent more snow water content than average also, as does the Clark Fork.
