" Classical Occultism - i.e. Spiritual Tradition - very often rests on imitation of old usages and forgotten rituals - or on texts and images the inner (i.e. esoteric) content of which is recognized only by Initiates. This most typically applies for old sacred scriptures where cosmic and supracosmic processes are commented on under the veils of ciphers, myths, pseudo-history, and tales about countries or family clans. Creation myths of all cultures throughout space and time most clearly illustrate this fact: They report how a God - or a community of gods - conjure "out of nothing" a Universe along with its physical and spiritual processes that are, usually, consciously perceived again only by Initiates. Modern Science since the century of "Enlightenment" has always tried to supplant such myths by so-called "objective" discoveries and "facts". However, it has become clear, more and more, that those "scientific" views are just another myth - but which remains blind to the essence of things, namely: to what we call Spirit, Light and Life. The popular myth of the "Big Bang" - so typical for noise and aggression in our modern world - is the grossest cankerous outgrowth thereof. The present book brings a Genesis in twelve Theses, in a modern language on the basis of the simplest symbols ever. Its elucidations by P. Martin, occasionally using some neologisms for relations never described before, include the paradigmata of oldest myths, but in the meantime formulate a consequent synthesis of modern Physics and classic spirituality: It also shows where the fundamental Hermetic laws come from; how divine idea-forms grow into material realities; how the Kingdoms of Nature came forth - and the principles of the spiritual Path of Transfiguration leading to the redemption of Humanity. Besides the Aquarius Genesis this book contains two tales in a typical mythic style, making visible the inner Plan of the Universe, along with a scenic dialogue and a classic philosophical treatise: "About the Essence of Being" is a modern theory of ideas which - authored 60 years ago - already achieves to reduce all processes to vibration cycles, and to Energy. Numerous pictures, some of them full-page, and in-depth Notes explaining further the text and images complete this book. An international review comments: "Thus it must be: Old Truths of the Past are being confirmed by the new Truths of today !"

Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: trans*for*ma*tion NOUN A marked change, of something or someone, usually for the better. Nature provides an amazing example of a transformation. A butterfly's life begins as an egg that becomes a larva. At its appointed time, a caterpillar breaks out and then begins to eat, and eat, and eat. Then the caterpillar spins a thread into a shell-like covering around its body. Inside this cocoon, the caterpillar changes into a pupa. The pupa grows into a beautiful, colorful, and graceful butterfly. People also go through transformations. From conception until death, we go through a series of changes. Once conceived, the life cycle stages begin and progress to produce a newborn baby. The baby grows and becomes a toddler, which then matures into an adolescent. Adulthood follows, and the process continues through mid-life through to old age. This experience is a natural transformation. There is also a spiritual transformation that we all should go through. This alteration involves changing on the inside and revealing it on the outside. You go through a conversion from living a worldly lifestyle to living a Christian life that is pleasing to God. You should desire and seek to achieve this spiritual makeover with all of your might. Many will confess to being a Christian, but are they really like Christ? You can't just name it and claim it. You have to live it. To be a Christian means to be Christ-like. You must learn to live like Christ, to love like Christ, forgive like Christ, even bless like Christ, etc. Some may say that living a Christian life is easier said than done. Why is that so? I think mainly because we have inherently conformed to this world, and this world promotes pretty much everything except Christian living. Sadly, the vast majority of those who call themselves Christians in these last days are as far from Christ as they can possibly be. They think they are living for Jesus with all of their wickedness and false doctrines and evil lifestyles. I believe that people want this transformation but are not too willing to take the necessary steps to make this process change. This change isn't always easy, but it is absolutely obtainable. You may ask, "What is required to live a Christian life?" The answer is in the Holy Bible. Transformation -- Living a Christian Life can be summed up with one Bible verse: "And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God" (Rom. 12:2). Many have conformed to the ways of the world. They need a renewing of their mind. They need to get back in alignment with the will of God. This book's purpose is to reunite you with God, His Word, and His will for your life, which is good and acceptable and perfect.

But yell, and tell to ring the bell. Brain ... brain in the shell... - Ana Guerreiro We know that our brain is full of absurdly complex and tangled “wires”, leading us to ask almost daily: "Why did i do that?", "How can i forget that?", "How could i not remember such a thing? ”, and “What the hell is wrong with me?” Our brains seem a little stupid, ignorant and very “clumsy”, sometimes. Why is it that we are led by so many temptations? Are they really that impossible to circumvent? Most of us live without using our potential. There are, at least, 50 gray matter “temptations”. It’s true, we have a very demanding biology. She wants constant pleasure, because that means survival. She has billions of years of evolution, with many whims. It is difficult to face it. Really? I don’t think so!

Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Many in the Church are waiting with expectation for the second coming of Christ. The parable of the wedding feast in Matthew 22 tells us that the Church, the Bride, was invited to the wedding but didn’t come. In 2 Thessalonians, Paul warns that the second coming would be preceded by a “great falling away” and Matthew 24 says that if these days were not cut short then even the elect could be deceived. With thousands of Christian denominations preaching a different gospel, let us examine Scripture from the earliest perspective, which is that of the Early Church. The Early Church Fathers were the spiritual sons of the apostles, who learned directly from Jesus. They tell us what the end would be like and unlock the deeper meanings of Scripture. While many today are waiting to be “raptured,” these apostolic men believed that the glory of God would first manifest in His Church. The apocalypse, often misunderstood to mean the end of the world, is simply two Greek words put together: apo (to destroy) and kalypto (the veil). The Book of Revelation is about destroying the veil to enter back into the glory of God. These revelatory teachings were passed down and preserved for hundreds of years, yet for the most part the opposite is being taught in the body of Christ today. Jesus tells us in Matthew 17 that “Elijah is coming and will restore all things.” This Elijah spirit is upon us now to make the way straight through revelatory teaching of Scripture and to bring the fear of the Lord back to wake up the sleeping Church while there’s still time. The Early Church taught that without Elijah preparing and sealing the Church not one would be saved. At the same time, under the leadership of the Catholic Church, a second sealing is taking place, with all major Christian denominations coming into covenant with Islam, Buddhism, and Hinduism, saying there are many ways to God. The great apostasy is here, but nothing will stop this final move of God. The world will see a full restoration of His glory on Earth as it is in heaven. Through revelation, or an apocalypse, let us step behind the veil to have full access to the glory of God and His redemptive plan for us as His children. For the earth will be filled with the knowledge of the glory of the LORD, as the waters cover the sea (Hab. 2:14).

Many cultures also claim that someday the world will again be destroyed in a similar fashion. In the Bible we are told that the disciples once asked Jesus if there would be a warning sign prior to this destructive event. He said that there would indeed a sign. Jesus said that whatever was happening in the Days of Noah will happen again before the end of this age. The Bible has only a few verses about Noah's Flood. So we are forced to turn to the ancient flood legends of over 350 other cultures to learn more about this prophecy. But Noah's days did not end with the flood, he lived for many years afterward. He saw the creation of a tower in Babylon. This is interesting because the Freemasons claim that their Order originated here. Here is the most thorough examination of Freemasonry ever undertaken, using their own texts, to solve the Days of Noah prophecy.

Book excerpt: A new approach to culture and cultural patterns is elucidated through relating a theory of personality and social characters to the genesis of myths and religions. Cultures are classified along a continuum and their relationship to a given personality structure is based on the assumptions that cultures possess generalized traits, and that these traits relate to characters of individuals. Cultures, like man, pass through the age phases of childhood, youth, manhood, culminating in old age. It is the cultural goals and the means to achieve them that become the culture pattern. What are these cultural goals? How do we achieve them? Every society and culture has its own indigenous mythology. Myths move in time from sacred myths recorded before history to modern myths, like master detectives Sherlock Holmes and Hercule Poirot, or the master spy, John Le Carré’s Smiley, or even Superman, who realizes the dreams of omnipotence among the downtrodden, henpecked inhabitants of Metropolis. Thus myths provide meaning and motivation for human behavior.

Book excerpt: From the author of the twenty-five-million-copy bestseller The Shack comes a captivating new novel destined to be one of the most talked-about books of the decade. Eve is a bold, unprecedented exploration of the Creation narrative, true to the original texts and centuries of scholarship—yet with breathtaking discoveries that challenge traditional beliefs about who we are and how we’re made. Eve opens a refreshing conversation about the equality of men and women within the context of our beginnings, helping us see each other as our Creator does—complete, unique, and not constrained by cultural rules or limitations. When a shipping container washes ashore on an island between our world and the next, John the Collector finds a young woman inside—broken, frozen, and barely alive. With the aid of Healers and Scholars, John oversees her recovery and soon discovers that her genetic code connects her to every known race. No one would guess what her survival will mean… No one but Eve, Mother of the Living, who calls her “daughter” and invites her to witness the truth about her own story—indeed, the truth about us all. As The Shack awakened readers to a personal, non-religious understanding of God, Eve will free us from faulty interpretations that have corrupted human relationships since the Garden of Eden. Thoroughly researched and exquisitely written, Eve is a masterpiece that will inspire readers for generations to come.

Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: The Victorian Verse-Novel: Aspiring to Life considers the rise of a hybrid generic form, the verse-novel, in the second half of the nineteenth century. Such poems combined epic length with novelistic plots in the attempt to capture not a heroic past but the quotidian present. Victorian verse-novels also tended to be rough-mixed, their narrative sections interspersed with shorter, lyrical verses in varied measures. In flouting the rules of contemporary genre theory, which saw poetry as the purview of the eternal and ideal and relegated the everyday to the domain of novelistic prose, verse-novels proved well suited to upsetting other hierarchies, as well, including those of gender and class. The genre's radical energies often emerge from the competition between lyric and narrative drives, between the desire for transcendence and the quest to find meaning in what happens next; the unusual marriage plots that structure such poems prove crucibles of these rival forces. Generic tensions also yield complex attitudes towards time and space: the book's first half considers the temporality of love, while its second looks at generic geography through the engagement of novels in verse with Europe and the form's transatlantic travels. Both well-known verse-novels (Elizabeth Barrett Browning's Aurora Leigh, Arthur Hugh Clough's Amours de Voyage, Coventry Patmore's The Angel in the House) and lesser-known examples are read closely alongside a few nearly related works (Tennyson's Idylls of the King, Robert Browning's The Ring and the Book). An Afterword traces the verse-novel's substantial influence on the modernist novel.
