Book excerpt: God's favor was on my life from the moment I was born and came out of my Mother's womb with pneumonia, although, the doctors did not give a good prognosis because my lungs weren't developed properly due to being damaged. All I know is that I come from a Mother that put all her faith and trust in God and when she took me in her arms she prayed and asked God to let her little girl live and He touched and healed my body! I am a living witness that you can be not only a survivor but a conqueror through your faith and trust in God. I have been through many circumstances and life changing situations that many people could not have endured without complications and years of professional therapy. Beginning in my early childhood my Mother taught me to believe in myself and God. She said no matter what happens in life or what people may try to do by their actions to harm or manipulate me to always pray and never fear what they could do because God would be there to bring me through. This story of my life is written to be an inspiration and motivating factor to allow someone who may be experiencing the same or some of the same situations I have dealt with to understand nothing is too big or impossible if you press forward and allow God to lead and direct your path, you can make life count in your favor.

Book excerpt: This book is about how God used a man that could not read nor write to instill Godly values into his children's lives. He was a man that prayed with his family, making sure that prayer was a number one priority. He worked hard to provide for the family, walking in authority. He knew how to discipline, yet show real love in the anointing of God. This caused a small child to realize how important it is to pray. She saw the difference in the life of a father that prayed and lived a life before her. Even through near death experiences, divorce, tragedy, and sickness, she finds out that the power of prayer is real, and now she is also walking in the same spirit of prayer to instill into the next generation. There are seven steps in this book that God used to orchestrate this which is guaranteed to work.

A mother’s day is packed with a multitude of tasks that require energy and time: preparing meals, washing clothes, straightening and cleaning the house, and caring for children. These jobs all are necessary and crucially important. But in the dailyness of providing for a child’ s physical, emotional, and social needs, vital opportunities for spiritual nurture and training can be overlooked. This doesn’t have to be the case. You can focus your energy on what matters most. Learn how you can: • Make Life’s Mundane and Nitty-Gritty Moments Work for You and Not Against You. • Discover Ways to Make Character-Building a Natural Part of Live. • Teach Your Child in the Same Way Jesus Taught the Disciples. • Pass on Crucial Gifts that Will Serve Your Family for a Lifetime. Using biblical wisdom and practical teachings, Sally Clarkson shows how you can make a lasting difference in your child’s life by following the pattern Christ set with his own disciples–a model that will inspire and equip you to intentionally embrace the rewarding, desperately needed, and immeasurably valuable Ministry of Motherhood.

Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: What principles enabled the concerned mom of two junior high school students to move from deciding she needed to pray for her kids at school to becoming the founder of a worldwide prayer movement called Moms In Touch International? Fern Nichols is a passionate believer in the power of prayer. She knows that a regular habit of prayer can change things--can bring home wayward children, heal broken marriages, and provide answers to desperate situations. Prayer can also bring a new kind of peace and contentment no matter what hardships or disappointments we face. But most important, Fern knows that through prayer we can experience, firsthand, an ever-increasing intimacy with God. In Every Child Needs a Praying Mom, Fern Nichols now shares how she has taught women to pray in a way that changes their lives and the lives of those they love. She teaches the principles and practices that will not only revolutionize the way people think about prayer, but the way they do pray, leading them into a deeper intimacy with Jesus, who is always interceding on our behalf. Sparkling with real life stories of God at work in the lives of praying moms, Fern introduces us to the four prayers that are the foundation of the Moms In Touch approach to prayer: Praise: Praying according to the attributes of God Confession: Breaking strongholds Thanksgiving: Expressing a grateful heart Intercession: Standing in the gap with Jesus What transforms these well-known elements of prayer into such a powerful force in Moms In Touch International? Fern Nichols introduces a way of praying that energizes, creates an appetite for intimacy with God, overcomes spiritual paralysis, eliminates fear, unveils the heart and character of God and transforms the pray-er's life and perspective. She teaches how to pray effectively with others, how to prepare for the spiritual battles that swirl when prayer is on the move, how to persist in prayer in the face of hopelessness and despair, and how to use Scripture for effective prayer. Every Child Needs a Praying Mom will do just that. God hears. God acts. God moves. God works.
