Highlights in 2021 include the new EIB Group Anti-Fraud Policy; the investigation of a higher number of procurement related misconduct cases in 2021 than in previous years; the negotiation of a settlement with Alstom; the completion of three Proactive Integrity Reviews on multi-beneficiary intermediated loans with recommendations made to services as well as progress in the implementation of the proactive review methodology in the EIF; and services on anti-fraud provisions applicable to different products and mandates in the framework of the Covid-19 response.
