Nous avons utilisé les algorithmes génétiques pour le dimensionnement optimal du détecteur et les réseaux de neurones pour résoudre le problème inverse. Le détecteur inductif réalisé est constitué d’une bobine de transmission et deux bobines de réception montées en mode différentiel. La réalisation du prototype a été effectuée et le modèle élaboré est validé par les résultats expérimentaux.

Book excerpt: L'immunisation en boucle fermée est un système visant à protéger en temps réel un navire du risque magnétique qu'il encourt. En effet, l'acier, constituant principal des bâtiments de la marine, s'aimante sous l'action du champ magnétique terrestre créant ainsi une anomalie locale de ce champ. Cette anomalie peut être l'origine de la détection ou même de la destruction du bateau. Les travaux précédents ont permis de mettre en place un algorithme permettant de prédire avec une erreur inférieure à 10% l'anomalie d'une maquette simplifiée de bateau à partir des données physiques du bateau et de mesures internes d'induction magnétique. L'objectif du travail est d'améliorer l'outil existant pour qu'il soit fonctionnel sur un navire réel. La première partie de ce document présente l'intégration analytique qui améliore la précision des calculs et permet aussi de rapprocher les capteurs de la coque. La deuxième partie est consacrée à l'étude du gradient magnétique. Cette grandeur physique, plus locale que l'induction, est utile pour prendre en compte les anomalies locales pouvant perturber la mesure d'induction (masse interne, objet métallique,...). Une validation expérimentale a permis de mettre en avant les possibilités du gradient magnétique. La troisième partie introduit la notion de potentiel scalaire magnétique qui donne une vision plus globale de l'anomalie magnétique. Une étude numérique a confirmé l'intérêt de cette grandeur. La dernière partie du rapport aborde une étude d'optimisation et de robustesse visant à fournir une méthode de placement des capteurs applicable dans le cas d'un bâtiment réel.

Le principe du procédé consiste à fondre et brasser le métal dans un four à induction à creuset froid alimenté par un courant alternatif bifréquence. Ce courant inducteur est constitué d'une moyenne fréquence pour chauffer et assurer un brassage électromagnétique au sein du métal ainsi que d'une basse fréquence de modulation destinée à agiter l'interface métal - laitier. Un tel courant inducteur est obtenu en modulant la consigne d'entrée d'un générateur à induction standard à l'aide d'un signal sinusoïdal délivré par un générateur de fonctions. Une étude du comportement hydrodynamique de la surface libre de gallium dans un tel système d'induction bifréquence a montré qu'il est possible d'exciter des modes de surface axisymétriques (0,n) lorsque la fréquence de modulation du courant inducteur correspond à la fréquence propre d'un des modes de surface. Les amplitudes maximales et la fréquence des déformations de la surface libre ont été mesurées en fonction des paramètres de consigne d'entrée imposés au générateur. Il ressort une assez bonne corrélation entre les caractéristiques expérimentales des déformations et les valeurs issues d'un modèle analytique. Un système de détection de résonance, sans contact avec la surface libre, a été mise en place afin de détecter les déformations de la surface libre engendrées par l'excitation des modes de surface. L'aptitude du procédé à améliorer la cinétique du transfert de zirconium d'un sel fluoré vers un métal liquide contenant l'aluminium comme métal réducteur a été étudiée. Des expériences de transferts ont été réalisées sans et avec modulation du courant inducteur. Elles montrent que pour une valeur d'intensité du courant donnée, le transfert peut être accéléré sous l'effet de l'agitation interfaciale engendrée par la modulation du courant inducteur.
