Puis, nous nous sommes intéressés à donner une interprétation des propriétés dispersives des matériaux périodiques. Grâce aux conditions de résonance, aux vitesses de phase et aux coefficients de transmission, nous avons montré pourquoi à certaines fréquences le matériau est totalement transparent tandis qu'à d'autres il réfléchit les ondes.
