Finalmente, el tercer bloque gravita en torno a las distintas perspectivas del concepto de lenguaje, que, concebido en un sentido amplio –idiomas, lenguajes documentales, lenguajes de marcado–, atañe tanto a traductores e intérpretes como a gestores de información, en la medida en que permite la creación, la difusión y el intercambio de conocimiento de manera efectiva.

This book takes into account the role of native peoples as active agents in the Conquest through a review of new sources and more careful analysis of known but under-studied materials that demonstrate the overwhelming importance of native allies in both conquest and colonial control.
