The bibliography is preceded by an introductory study, in Spanish and English of a literary relationship between Russia and the Spanish-American countries that has never before been seriously investigated. His conclusions indicate that Russian literature appeared in the Hispanic world much earlier than has been assumed by scholars thus far. The bibliography is divided into anthologies and compilations, general criticism, literary works (by authors, with criticisms), pseudo-Russian writings, and semi-literary works.
