Book excerpt: Behind every Elevation is an Elevator. Behind every Success story there is a Success Factor. Behind every Miracle there is an Anointing. In the kingdom of God, you must discover the key that opens your door. I have discovered one thing that is behind every Elevation story in God and that is what I call the Grace Factor. There are so many theological definitions of the concept of grace but simply put grace is unconditional help from above. One day John the Baptist was having a conversation with his disciples and they said to John, "Look, Rabbi, the One who was with you beyond the Jordan, whom you testified about--He is baptizing, and everyone is going to Him." (John 3:26). In other words, the man you introduced into ministry is doing better than you. The pastor that you trained has started a bible school and many students are attending. The woman that use to learn how to design cloths from you is now designing cloths for the elite in the society. John's disciples are not bad people, they were rather shocked that Jesus just came into the system and he is already making big waves. We all sometimes wonder how some people seems to move up in life so fast? John responded with a powerful revelation. John's answer is what I call the Grace Factor. This is what john said, "No one can receive anything unless God gives it from heaven" (John 3:27) John was saying, if you see any one moving up in life it means heaven is pulling that person up. The chord that pulls is called the Grace Factor. It is this supernatural ability that brings about Elevation. I am very honored and excited to share the content of this book with you. By the Grace Factor on my life, I have ministered to so many people around the world through my media ministry but this year I am overjoyed to share God's word with you through my print ministry. Experiencing the Grace Factor for divine lifting is my first book. I believe this book will not only inspire you, but it will bring Elevation into every area of your life.

Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: We all face stress and tension in our daily lives. We might even wonder why our God of abundant goodness doesn’t remove the everyday struggles we face. Jesus’ interactions with Martha and Mary in the Gospel provide us the key to understanding how God shows us his love by allowing tensions in our lives. As we follow the sisters’ transformative journeys through their own struggles, reflecting on what transpires between Scripture verses, we see their initial tension become the catalyst that drives both Mary and Martha to the feet of Jesus — the place where all discover peace. Grace in Tension explores the areas where stress arises in our own lives. Each chapter ends with a thought-provoking prayer to inspire us to go to God with our problems, followed by questions for reflection to help us see all the ways he’s working for our good. God doesn’t create any of it, but he does show up amid life’s difficulties, ready to lead us through. No matter how big or small our struggle, when we seek him out, he reveals what we need to do to resolve our tension, transforming it into grace. Book excerpt: Christians who want to take the next step in their faith walk need look no further. It's time to ante up and go all in with God. The Gospel costs nothing. You can't earn it or buy it. It can only be received as a free gift, which is compliments of God's grace. It doesn't cost anything, but it demands everything. It demands that we go "all in," putting all that we have into God's hands. But why do so many Christians hesitate to do that? And when did we start believing that the Gospel is an insurance plan? We're afraid that if we go all in that we might miss out on what life has to offer. But Jesus did not die to keep us safe. He died to make us dangerous. So, let's step out of spiritual no man's land and kneel at the foot of the cross of Christ and surrender to his lordship. It's time to dethrone yourself and enthrone Christ as king, and Pastor Mark Batterson is here to show you how. Using his customary vivid, contemporary illustrations, as well as biblical characters like Shamgar, Elisha, Jonathan, and even Judas, you will be challenged to trade what Batterson calls "inverted Christianity" for true discipleship as you strip away your excuses and inhibitions and follow God completely. It's now or never. Are you ready to go all in and all out for God? Also available: All In student edition, video curriculum, and study guide.

Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: In this book we will talk about divine elevation through the means of prophetic prayers. It is a unique avenue that many Christians are taking for granted. The Bible teaches that we have been ordained kings. It is then our responsibilities to issue decrees and commands. Angels of God are waiting for the decrees of our mouths to enforce divine elevation. More importantly, the power to unleash the reality of divine elevation rests in the Name of Jesus, the name above every other name in existence. Jesus Christ is our Lord, and He reigns over all that exists. A revelatory knowledge of the Name and Person of Jesus Christ guarantees divine elevation. It is for this reason that many Christians are suffering in the hands of the devil. Knowledge in the Word of God initiates us into a blissful covenant of supernatural elevation in God. The good news is that the devil has no part in it. However, apart from principalities and powers of which Christians are afraid of, many people are the reasons behind their delayed or denied elevation. There are obstacles that hinder people from being elevated by God, which many are not even aware of. They have been carefully explained in this book. Rather than concentrating on challenges and situations of life, you must learn to focus your attention on God; speaking the right words, always. This is your season of elevation. The Lord by His mercy, will lift you above shame and reproach, and elevate you to be a global blessing. Congratulations in advance on your supernatural elevation!

Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Louie Giglio helps you find encouragement, hope, and strength in the midst of any valley as you reject the enemy voices of fear, rage, lust, insecurity, anxiety, despair, temptation, or defeat. Scripture is clear: the Enemy is a liar who will stop at nothing to tempt you into poor decisions and self-defeating mindsets, making you feel afraid, angry, anxious, or defeated. It is all too easy for Satan to weasel his way into a seat at the table intended for only you and your King. But you can fight back. Don't Give the Enemy a Seat at Your Table outlines the ways to overcome those lies so you can find peace and security in any challenging circumstance or situation. With the same bold, exciting approach to Scripture as employed in Goliath Must Fall and his other previous works, pastor Louie Giglio examines Psalm 23 in fresh ways, highlighting verse 5: "You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies." You can find freedom from insecurity, temptation, and defeat--if you allow Jesus, the Shepherd, to lead the battle for your mind and heart. This spiritual warfare book for those who are leery of spiritual warfare books will resonate with Louie's core Passion tribe as well as with Christians of all ages who want to live a triumphant life in God.

Book excerpt: One of the Time 100 Best Fantasy Books Of All Time Two men rebel together against tyranny—and then become rivals—in this first sweeping book of an epic fantasy series from Ken Liu, recipient of Hugo, Nebula, and World Fantasy awards. Hailed as one of the best books of 2015 by NPR. Wily, charming Kuni Garu, a bandit, and stern, fearless Mata Zyndu, the son of a deposed duke, seem like polar opposites. Yet, in the uprising against the emperor, the two quickly become the best of friends after a series of adventures fighting against vast conscripted armies, silk-draped airships, and shapeshifting gods. Once the emperor has been overthrown, however, they each find themselves the leader of separate factions—two sides with very different ideas about how the world should be run and the meaning of justice. Fans of intrigue, intimate plots, and action will find a new series to embrace in the Dandelion Dynasty.

Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Jesus was quite clear that we must lose our life before we find it. This book gives a hopeful and realistic look at what losing our life entails, articulating how “growth” in the Christian life is not our ascent to God but the process by which our eyes are opened to the beauty God has already given to us. It is a book about descending into God, and into our own inner depths, about the deep waters of the Christian faith. “Put out into the deep and let your nets down for a catch.” (Luke 5:4) We live in a world that values productivity and success, and we vainly imagine that God expects us to be spiritually productive and successful, too. It doesn’t matter how much we talk about grace, our conversation is often narrowly focused on what we need to do for God—so much so that we often block the work God longs to do in us. This book does not articulate God’s work as a process by which we become spiritually strong, but rather as the process by which we embrace our weakness as the place where we most fully experience God’s perfect strength (2 Corinthians 12:9).

Book excerpt: Few concepts are more important in Catholic theology than that of grace, but most adult Catholics never move beyond a schoolchild's understanding of grace. Charles Journet explores philosophy, revelation and history to explain grace fully. Journet lays out both the doctrinal development of grace and corrects persistent mistakes that Catholics make about grace. He covers habitual grace, actual grace, predestination, justification, merit, and much more. He even includes a revealing exploration of Adam's earthly paradise and how the nature of the Fall called forth God's response of grace.
