Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: The special interest in electronics all over the world is due to its decisive role in the scien tific and technical progress now taking place in all fields of modern technology. Electronics also plays a decisive role in the development of science, providing as it does the technical basis for various scientific experiments. The role of electronics in the development of the world's culture also deserves a special mention. That is why it is hoped that the English-German French-Dutch-Russian Dictionary of Electronics, which contains some 9.000 entries and is jointly published by Kluwer Technische Boeken, B.V. (Deventer, Holland) and Ruski Yazyk Publishers (Moscow, USSR) will be favourably received. In accordance with existing international tradition, the term «electronics» covers several fields known in Soviet classification as elec tronics proper, radio engineering, and wire communication. The entries included in this dictionary have been selected in accordance with the international understanding of the term «electronics». One of the main difficulties encountered by the compilers was that although according to some calculations the number of terms used in special literature on electronics exceeds 50.000, the vocabulary of the dictionary had to be restricted to only 9.000 entries. Therefore this dictionary cannot claim to be comprehensive. Its purpose is to enable a wide range of specialists in various countries to find the English, German, French, Dutch, or Russian equivalents of the principal and most up-to-date terms in the field of electronics. Most attention has been paid to quantum electronics, fibre optics, optoelectronics, integrated circuit technology, radiolocation and radionavigation, pulse technique, holography, etc.
Book Synopsis Fundamentals of Electronics 1 by : Pierre Muret
Download or read book Fundamentals of Electronics 1 written by Pierre Muret and published by John Wiley & Sons. This book was released on 2017-08-14 with total page 216 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Electronics has undergone important and rapid developments over the last 60 years, which have generated a large range of theoretical and practical notions. This book presents a comprehensive treatise of the evolution of electronics for the reader to grasp both fundamental concepts and the associated practical applications through examples and exercises. This first volume of the Fundamentals of Electronics series comprises four chapters devoted to elementary devices, i.e. diodes, bipolar junction transistors and related devices, field effect transistors and amplifiers, their electrical models and the basic functions they can achieve. Volumes to come will deal with systems in the continuous time regime, the various aspects of sampling signals and systems using analog (A) and digital (D) treatments, quantized level systems, as well as DA and AD converter principles and realizations.

Download or read book Électronique non linéaire 1 written by Brahim Haraoubia and published by ISTE Group. This book was released on 2018-11-01 with total page 365 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle.

Book excerpt: Nonlinear Electronics 1: Nonlinear Dipoles, Harmonic Oscillators and Switching Circuits deals with the appearance of nonlinear electronic circuits and their behavior. The book studies a number of circuits that interface between analog and digital electronics, including astable, monostable, bistable, Schmitt trigger, and analog-to-digital and digital-to-analog conversion. Users will find a complete resource that deals with all aspects of these circuits, starting from the discrete component and gradually working to the integrated circuit. Presents non-linear electronic circuits and their behavior Discusses relaxation oscillators Treats subject matter from the discrete element, to the integrated device Present interface circuits, analog-to-digital conversion, analog-to-analog, and PLL (phase locked loop)

Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: This book presents a synthesis of Electronics through keynotes which are substantiated in three volumes. The first one comprises four chapters devoted to elementary devices, i.e. diodes, bipolar transistors and related devices, field effect transistors and amplifiers. In each of one, device physics, non linear and linearized models, and applications are studied. The second volume is devoted to systems in the continuous time regime and contains two chapters: one describes different approaches to the transfer function concept and applications, and the following deals with the quadripole properties, filtering and filter synthesis. The third volume presents the various aspects of sampling systems and quantized level systems in the two last chapters.

Book Synopsis Molecular Motions in Liquids by : J. Lascombe
Download or read book Molecular Motions in Liquids written by J. Lascombe and published by Springer Science & Business Media. This book was released on 2012-12-06 with total page 645 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: When, in my capacity as President of the Societe de Chimie physique, I opened the 24th Annual Meeting of this Society, devoted this year to 'molecular motions in liquids', I was stirred by a particular emotion. This had two reasons, one general and the other rather personal. I would like to give an explanation in the Foreword to this volume of communications to the Meeting and their ensuing discussions. An essential characteristic of science is its international nature. It is like a symphony composed of contributions by all the countries playing together as an orchestra in unison. Just as a melody has different 'colours' when played by strings or woodwinds, so there exist similar 'colour' differences, subtle ones, between scientific contributions from different countries, rooted as they are in their own cultural history and liable to impoverish the ensemble if they should cease to participate. I have always had an impression of marked 'colour' differences prevailing among American, Russian, Japanese and European contributions, although within the latter group the timbre is very much the same. This is why I have dreamed of a European 'chamber orchestra' in addition to the great world orchestra.
