When the conductor tix + K2 resistance is not uniform throughout, as for instance when testing leads are used to connect the terminals A and B with the ends of the cable, the conductor resistance of each section must be obtained separately by the ordinary method, so that all resistances between A and B may be expressed in terms of the resistance per unit length of the conductor of the cable under test.
