No, don?t, this pressure you are just feeling now is not yours, but you are wearing the wrong shoes today, those are the devil?s shoes. Are you Feeling like you are nothing but a shadow in a world of colour, a grass-hoper in the world of giants, a mistake or coincident for that matter?like your existence means nothing, or that the day of your birth was a catastrophic mistake in this life time? Fear not because what you are going through is not curse, but a course of life that you have to go through as predestined by God and it is not your destiny but a process in life. Like a butterfly, God wants you to be transformed and to transcend beyond people?s expectations and perception. This book is motivational books that will help you understand the value of being the elected of God, why God compares us to a worm, and why we should transcend in life and not conform to the wishes and desires of this world. Many of us are living a life of a worm, always looking down and feeling ashamed of ourselves, we coil and spend too much time crying simply because we don?t understand the meaning of being the elected of God (Ephesians 1:4)

This book was released on 2018-04-18 with total page 309 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: This book argues that common-sense convictions of rural Polish citizens are “post-peasant” or “post-agrarian”, rather than post-socialist or post-communist. In so doing, it offers a departure from the established terms of scholarly literature on the Central European transition that has focused on such concepts as “homo sovieticus” or the “post-communist mentality”. It draws on ethnographic fieldwork carried out in the early 2000s in the highland region in the south of Poland, focusing on local knowledge about the state, power, politics, and democracy. It describes how rural social imaginaries translate categories derived from the organisation of life and work at the farm into ideas about politics. In this regard, the state is seen as a huge farm, the authorities as the farmer or manager, and the nation as the farmer’s family. Politics is perceived as a dishonest but profitable profession and democracy as a political system that could only work in the Garden of Eden.

New York Times–bestselling author Cynthia Freeman is beloved for her multigenerational sagas of Jewish immigrant families in America, including her sensational debut, A World Full of Strangers, which sold more than a million copies. The three novels collected here center on ordinary, heroic women who journey across the ocean in search of opportunity, finding both community and adversity, family togetherness and private grief, tragedy and triumph. A World Full of Strangers: In 1932, Polish immigrant Katie Kovitz is embraced by the Jewish community of the Lower East Side. But after marrying a man who rejects his heritage, she struggles to reclaim her lost identity in this sensational debut novel. Portraits: In this New York Times bestseller, Esther Sandsonitsky leaves her abusive husband and journeys to the United States in order to capture a piece of the American dream for her children—including Jacob, the son she was forced to leave behind. No Time for Tears: “This impassioned novel follows its heroine, Chavala Landau, from turn-of-the-century Russia to Palestine and on to the United States, where she carves out a financial empire in the diamond industry before returning to Jerusalem in 1948” (The New York Times).

Book excerpt: Hi, I’m Francesca Lake, WBCG TV’s medical reporter. Privately, I am on a mission to marry a doctor. After my recent mortifying episode in the ER, it’s clear I suck at self-diagnosis. It all started when I thought I was having a heart attack. I made a cringe-worthy entrance at the hospital, but in my defense, I thought I was DYING. You can ask Harrison Taylor, my dog’s vet. He was the one who carried me into the ER. I used to love my job reporting the social scene, but I’ve been recently drafted as the station's medical reporter . God only knows what diseases I will have to report on. This is not a good thing for a closet hypochondriac! There’s only one upside—medical reporting means meeting lots of doctors. Surely, there will be a few eligible bachelors in the mix… I’m trying to ignore my wild attraction to Harrison, but his forest green eyes, rugged physique and warm smile make my insides melt…not to mention other parts. My adorable dog, Romeo, is in love with Harrison, and he’s convinced Harrison is for me. But I’m looking for a “human” doctor. Harrison is an animal doctor. Do I look like an animal? Well, only on a bad hair day, but that’s beside the point. Marrying a doctor calls for a methodical approach, and I intend to date as many as I can to meet “the one.” I have to ignore Romeo’s blatant attempts to matchmake me with Harrison. But ignoring my pounding heart when I’m around swoony Harrison is another matter entirely… BEACH BOOK SERIES: Each book is a standalone GRILL ME, BABY, Book 1 BLAME IT ON ROMEO, Book 2 (previously titled Paging Dr. Hot)

Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: "The dazzling and exuberant comic 'Chronicles' of Rabelais (c. 1483-1552) are a feast of wisdom and laughter. Realism intertwines with carnivalesque fantasy, Renaissance learning with obscene humour to make readers look at the world afresh. Pantagruel, a tale of comic chivalry, satirizes lawyers, theologians and academic buffoons, while Gargantua mocks rash generals, idiotic monarchs and uncouth professors. It champions freedom and laughs at a dirty young giant before he turns into a splendid prince. Sequels lead into more complex and daring laughter and high mythology, often at the expense of Panurge - the mad, word-spinning companion of Pantagruel (who becomes a giant in wisdom, a Renaissance Socrates)." "M. A. Screech's translation captures Rabelais' ingenious wordplay and mastery of language. The introduction explores his individuality while comparing him to Shakespeare, and presents each book to open up the new horizons of Renaissance Europe. This edition also includes a chronology and notes."--BOOK JACKET.

Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Everyone is aware of the public outcry regarding how the elderly were abandoned to die of Covid-19 in care homes and in their houses. There’s a big reveal in that the UK has taken global leadership in under-counting and under-reporting its official death toll. Countries over-run by the pandemic are heavily attributing Covid-19 deaths to underlying conditions and co-morbidities. That has been surprising. But what is even more shocking, is the extent to which this has happened. To say, it is a tip of the iceberg is perhaps an understatement. Is the UK’s actual death toll as much as 15 times the official figures? That’s the big reveal. There is a reason why the official death toll only focused only on the NHS and hospital deaths. The book reveals it is a tip of the iceberg, but the extent is one that is shocking. The book highlights the women leaders who protected their countries from the crisis contrasting them with macho men leaders who chose the path of herd immunity, even against shocking scenes – yet due to massive egos, refused to change course. The book covers George Floyd in a unique way. The race for a vaccine is presented – but, will the public accept the shortcuts and the methods used?

With exuberant prose, a cast of extraordinary characters and a rebellious spirit, Samson Kambalu tells the story of how a little boy obsessed with fashion, football, Nietzsche and Michael Jackson won a free education at the Kamuzu Academy ('The Eton of Africa') and began his long journey to art school, and international artistic and academic success. The son of a philosophising, hard-drinking, poorly paid hospital manager, Kambalu's award-winning conceptual work is now shown in galleries across the world and still evokes that childhood landscape of literary excitement, family chaos and music; post-colonial injustice, poverty and Aids.
