I remember God telling me if I married my children's mother, I would not have to go to the United States military. I talk about this in the book. I remember meeting my present wife on the day that both she and I had gotten a divorce. I remember going to work early one morning and hearing my pastor on the radio, and the Lord began to tell me that one day, I would be doing the radio Broadcast! I remember losing my job and getting another job, whereby I was able to do the broadcast on the day that I had off. I was bitter for a while because I was making less money, but the Lord made it clear by telling me that this was not my job but my assignment. Life has been like a journey. As I am writing this book, it is as if it's a predestined journey, with me not really noticing it. It's like a raft being driven by the current of a river. The older I get, the better I can see it. I'm learning not to fight against the current so much. He gives me strength when I'm weak. He heals my body when I'm sick. He's keeping me alive. The only thing I see is that I must go through this divine destinations.

Book Synopsis When the Emperor Was Divine by : Julie Otsuka
Download or read book When the Emperor Was Divine written by Julie Otsuka and published by Anchor. This book was released on 2007-12-18 with total page 162 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: From the bestselling, award-winning author of The Buddha in the Attic and The Swimmers, this commanding debut novel paints a portrait of the Japanese American incarceration camps that is both a haunting evocation of a family in wartime and a resonant lesson for our times. On a sunny day in Berkeley, California, in 1942, a woman sees a sign in a post office window, returns to her home, and matter-of-factly begins to pack her family's possessions. Like thousands of other Japanese Americans they have been reclassified, virtually overnight, as enemy aliens and are about to be uprooted from their home and sent to a dusty incarceration camp in the Utah desert. In this lean and devastatingly evocative first novel, Julie Otsuka tells their story from five flawlessly realized points of view and conveys the exact emotional texture of their experience: the thin-walled barracks and barbed-wire fences, the omnipresent fear and loneliness, the unheralded feats of heroism. When the Emperor Was Divine is a work of enormous power that makes a shameful episode of our history as immediate as today's headlines.

Download or read book Clarity Is Divine written by Kelsi Marie and published by WestBow Press. This book was released on 2013-11 with total page 181 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Clarity Is Divine is a true story of survival and the resurrection of hope after a damaged emotional past collides with an indecent proposal. Too often, progress comes to a screeching halt when life doesn't go as planned. How do we recover when life events are beyond our control and one phone call creates a gulf between two worlds, before and after? Upon the realization that life would never be the same, Kelsi journeyed through the pitfalls of grief, bewilderment, and depression to a place of resurrected faith, hope, and love. Herein is the story of a young woman's journey through emotional trauma, layered betrayals, and her discovery of the grace that strengthened her to clasp her empty hands together and ask God to reveal the purpose behind the pain and the lessons to be learned as He was returned to His rightful position on the throne of her heart. On this journey, she learned that no matter how bad it felt, how wounded it left her, or how much time she had lost, she still had a date with destiny to look forward to. In her story, find the insight, courage, and faith to be healed and restored to a divine sense of clarity.

I believe that the experiences ,feelings and emotions of happiness or sorrow of the beings, though seems to be individual,in reality are the part of collective consciousness of "One" Devine, unlimited, eternal entity . The realisation of the concept of "Oneness " enable the people to expand their consciousness and mingle with the unlimited consciousness where one cease to exist as "I". Such feeling of oneness fill the hearts with peace, universal love and brotherhood liberating the minds from the clutches of negative energies; ego, enmity ,greediness and accept the world as a single family .
