Aufgrund der aktuellen Situation Stand April 2020, wurde meine wissenschaftliche Arbeit ausschließlich mithilfe von digitalen E-Books und Internetquellen erstellt. Die E-Books sind am Ende meiner Hausarbeit als Literaturquellen aufgelistet. Viele Jahrhunderte lang war Schulbildung ein Privileg der Reichen und Mächtigen, denn Wissen bedeutet Macht. Von den ersten Schulen in Griechenland bis hin zu den heutigen digitalisierten Schulsystemen war es ein langer Weg. Die ersten Medien in der Antike waren der Mensch als Medium und das Lehrbuch. Seitdem ist es zu einem massiven Wandel und einer kulturellen Evolution gekommen. Die Medien entwickeln sich jeden Tag immer weiter. Auf dieser Weise konnten die Lehrenden früher Bildmedien und Bücher, danach auch Radio und Fernseher in den Lernprozess einführen. Heutzutage werden die Schüler und Lehrer immer mehr mit digitalen Medien konfrontiert. Das Virtuelle ist ein selbstverständlicher Bestandteil der Lebenswelt von Kindern und Jugendlichen. Die neue Generation nutzt täglich digitale Medien wie Computer, Tablet oder Smartphone.
