Dabei ist das Ziel die verschiedenen Mandate der Sozialen Arbeit zur beleuchten und im Anschluss ein eigenes begründetes Urteil über die Mandatsstrukturen zu fällen. Hierfür wird zunächst eine Begriffserklärung der verschiedenen Mandate dargelegt. Daraufhin wird aufgrund dieser Grundlage eine fachliche Diskussion hinsichtlich des Menschenbildes, der Kritik an den Mandatsstrukturen und dem Auftrag der Sozialen Arbeit geführt. Im Anschluss daran wird die Bedeutung der Selbstreflexion in der Sozialen Arbeit angeführt. Letztlich wird ein zusammenfassendes Fazit gezogen. Zentrale Ergebnisse der Hausarbeit sind, dass das Doppelmandat sich in seinen Mandaten widerspricht und somit nicht existent sein kann. Das Trippelmandat hingegen kann in der Praxis nicht ausgeführt werden und dient somit nur als Handlungsorientierung für SozialarbeiterInnen. Die vier Mandate werden aufgefasst als Trennung des Trippelmandats und sind somit ebenfalls nicht Praxis fähig. Letztlich das Einzelmandat ist in der Praxis anwendungsfähig, wobei dieses im Rahmen von gesellschaftlichen und staatlichen Rahmenbedingungen geschieht. Außerdem ist die Selbstreflexion ein bedeutendes Element in Bezug auf die Handlungsfähigkeit von SozialarbeiterInnen, weshalb diese gefördert werden muss.

However, despite the valuable research conducted over the past years, the systematic analysis of social innovation is still contested and incomplete. The questions asked in the book will be the following: 1. What is the nature of social innovations? 2.What patterns can be identified in social innovations emerging at the local level? 3.How is the emergence and spread of social innovations related to urban governance? More precisely, which conditions and arrangements facilitate and hinders social innovation? We explore these questions using different types of data and methods, and studying different contexts. In particular, we focus on innovations that aim at solving problems of the young unemployed, single parents and migrants. This analysis is based on original research carried out in the period 2010-2013 in the framework of a European project with a specific empirical research strategy. The agreement affords labour protection: minimum wages, regular earnings; limits on working hours and predictable work schedules; safe working environments; parental leave and sick leave; and a fair share in the benefits of increased productivity. The International Labour Organization (ILO) Collective Agreements Recommendation 1951 (No. 91) considers, where appropriate and having regard to national practice, that measures should be taken to extend the application of all or some provisions of a collective agreement to all employers and workers included wthin the domain of the agreement. The extension of a collective agreement generalises the terms and conditions of employment, agreed between organised firms and workers, represented through their association(s) and union(s), to the non-organised firms within a sector, occupation or territory. The collection of chapters in this volume are about the extension of collective agreements as an act of public policy.

Book excerpt: A central pillar of contemporary communication research is the analysis of filmed interactions between people. The techniques employed in such analysis first took on a recognizably modern form in the 1970s, but their roots go back to the earliest days of motion picture technology in the late nineteenth century. This book presents original essays accompanied by written responses which together create a dialogue exploring early efforts at audio-visual sequence analysis and their common goal to capture the "whole" of the communicative situation. The first three chapters of this volume look at the film-based research of Gestalt psychologists in Berlin as well as psychologists in the orbit of Karl and Charlotte Bühler in Vienna in the first decades of the twentieth century. Most of these figures – along with many other Central European scholars of this era – were driven into exile in the United States after the rise of National Socialism in the 1930s. This scientific migration led to the cross-pollination of communication studies in America, an outcome visible in the leading project in interaction research of the mid-twentieth century, the Natural History of an Interview. The following two chapters examine this project in its historical context. The volume closes with a critical edition of a treasure from the archives: the transcript of a speech delivered by Ray Birdwhistell, a key participant in the Natural History of an Interview project and founder of kinesics.

The debate over "woman's place" in the fifties was part of West Germany's confrontation with the ideological legacy of National Socialism. The strategies pursued by these actors in these political exchanges are influenced by existing wage bargaining institutions, the character of monetary policy and by the level and composition of social policy transfers. The book demonstrates that the gradual growth in the fiscal burden has undermined the effectiveness of this political exchange, lowering the ability of unions' wage policies to affect employment outcomes.
