Cette thèse étudie des techniques en vue de la diffusion de données à délai minimum et efficace en énergie pour une application de gestion de catastrophes au sein d’un bâtiment. Cette application fait apparaître deux types de réseaux. Le premier effectue la surveillance de valeurs physiques telles que la température, la pression et l’humidité à l’intérieur du bâtiment, et le deuxième réalise la surveillance par vidéo au sein du réseau. Une première contribution de cette thèse concerne une architecture virtuelle d’un réseau pour la diffusion de données en vue de collecter des valeurs physiques suivant une approche optimisée en énergie. Dans une deuxième contribution, des métriques sont proposées pour le routage des données à délai minimum, et efficace en énergie, pour une application opérant sur des flux vidéo dans un bâtiment. Une troisième contribution explore l’utilisation de techniques de communication multicanaux dans des réseaux de capteurs. Ces mécanismes cherchent à réduire les interférences dans les communications entre les nœuds afin d’augmenter le débit supporté par le réseau. La première contribution se réfère à la partie de réseau relative à la surveillance de valeurs physiques, alors que les deux dernières contributions concernent la partie de réseau dédiée à la surveillance vidéo. Enfin, dans la dernière partie de la thèse la technique d’allocation de canal et celle de diffusion de données sous contrainte de qualité de service sont combinées dans une application de type cas d’étude.

Dès lors, coupler l'aspect non invasif des VLC avecl'Internet des Objets permettrait non seulement de réduire les risques pour les êtres humains maisaussi de limiter la saturation des bandes radio.Néanmoins, les techniques d'aujourd'hui consistent principalement en la réalisation de systèmesdiffusant l'information depuis une source unique vers plusieurs récepteurs, ce qui est l'inverse du paradigmede l'IoT. Dans cette étude, nous avons donc réalisé un nouveau design basé sur les VLC qui meten place une topologie de réseau en étoile 3. Ce système, basé sur un concentrateur disposant d'une ouplusieurs caméra en guise de photo-récepteurs, est optimisé pour plus d'autonomie. Ainsi, la vitessede transmission peut être gérée dynamiquement sans être connue par les autres éléments du système.

Le but de ces travaux de thèse est de contribuer à la sécurisation des personnes et de leur environnement de vie par la mise en réseau de dispositifs multi-capteurs de mesures sans fil. Ceux-ci doivent être spécifiés et configurés pour rendre par exemple l'environnement qu'ils surveillent intelligent et sécurisé. Le travail effectué porte sur la conception et le prototypage réel d'un réseau composé de dispositifs hétérogènes autonomes en énergie. Nos contributions comportent trois volets essentiels :Le premier volet concerne la conception d'un modèle de réseau ambiant adapté : nous avons proposé un modèle qui repose sur une architecture multi-niveaux caractérisée par des nœuds hétérogènes dont le captage (détection), le traitement et le stockage des données sont distribués par niveau. Cette architecture hiérarchique offre plusieurs avantages par rapport aux architectures linéaires classiques en termes d'évolutivité, de faible coût, de meilleure couverture, de hautes fonctionnalités et de fiabilité. Nous avons défini le comportement adapté pour chaque nœud dans le modèle et montré l'avantage de la solution par la simulation.Le deuxième volet concerne la proposition originale d'un protocole d'accès au médium efficace en énergie nommé « T-TMAC » et adapté à l'application, permettant d'organiser les échanges des messages dans l'architecture du réseau retenu. L'originalité du protocole est qu'il est composé de mécanismes de maintenance performants permettant la gestion de la mobilité et la reconfiguration du réseau (ajout et suppression d'un capteur). Pour cela, une adaptation et un paramétrage du standard IEEE 802.15.4 sont proposés.Le dernier volet présente l'évaluation et l'analyse de performances du protocole développé dans le cadre de scénarios de tests. Nous avons étudié en particulier l'impact de la taille des données et la périodicité de transfert sur l'énergie et le délai. Le protocole est validé à l'aide d'un modèle analytique dont les résultats ont été comparés à ceux obtenus par prototypage matériel.
