En effet le grignotage est impliqué dans le 3e fléau mondial qui est la maladie carieuse, il représente également un facteur de risque de l’obésité infantile. Ce travail se structure en quatre parties : Une première partie portant sur la nutrition et le rôle du sucre. Une deuxième partie traite des mécanismes psycho-sociaux et physiologiques à l’origine du développement du grignotage. Une troisième partie a pour objectif de faire le point sur les conséquences du grignotage sur la santé générale et bucco-dentaire.
