Por lo tanto, responsabilizar a los medios audiovisuales y en especial a la televisión del caos y la violencia individual y colectiva que se extiende por el mundo es una acusación injusta y errónea. Además, en opinión de Alejandro Piscitelli, proclamar el poder apolíneo de la escritura y de la lectura en contra de la dimensión dionisíaca de la imagen y de los medios audiovisuales es un ejercicio de infantilismo epistemológico.
