Download or read book Read My Shorts! written by Swift Smith and published by iUniverse. This book was released on 2006-11 with total page 210 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Although Swift Montana Smith's book entitled READ MY SHORTS is mostly about Cowboy Action Shooting and his personal experiences within the sport, there are also stories about the Wild West included within. The book is split into two parts with the first part being short stories that can be read in less than an hour; having said that, the eighteen stories listed in Part One will take several hours to read. The addition of the longer, short story in Part Two of the book about a Wild West character called Edgar Windfal is a pleasant narrative and very interesting. While some of the stories appear to be actual experiences, many of them are fictional in nature and have a comedic tone and are meant to be amusing. A few of the stories are serious and emotional; including the last one entitled Edgar Windfal - The Lucky Stone. Overall, the book is easy to read and very enjoyable.

Book Synopsis Dazz & All That Jazz by : Sabine Simon
Download or read book Dazz & All That Jazz written by Sabine Simon and published by AuthorHouse. This book was released on 2017-03-02 with total page 142 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: My friendly warning to the fortunate readers of Dazz & All That Jazz is to buckle up; you are about to read a fascinating and historical book of poetry by Sabine Simon, also known as Dazz. Dazz will show you how a young woman from the island of Haiti can turn into a charismatic poet and share with you her true love experiences in America where she started her writing journey in 1996. Like a lot of poets, writing becomes a therapy after losing a loved one and after a painful break up with someone you love. When you try very hard to escape the pain, what can you do? You write about it. In this poem Escaping Pain, the author talks about her wrist, her knife, her blood, and her life. It is very unfortunate when you aimed for the best and you end up facing the worst relationship of your life. Would I Be Wrong is another title of one of the poems in this book that will give you hope when you are down. This poem will place you in a church praising God, regardless if you were willing to do so or not. Would I be wrong to want to be on the mountaintop? How wrong can I be when I walk with the one who possesses eternity? I Am Sorry is another title that shows the inner conscience of the poetess, that she is human, she has a big heart, and she is willing to forgive. But the pains will never be forgotten because of the scars that keep on reminding you of the sorrowful moments in your life. This kaleidoscopic summary of countless events that you are about to read from Dazzs poetry is breathtaking and is indeed textually significant vis--vis anyone who has been in good/bad relationship. Dazzs poetry was written with an innate passion and unconditional love. This book was written in raw accuracy of what you, the reader, could have been or are dealing with in your relationships as we speak.

Download or read book Angel of Darkness written by Katy Munger and published by Severn House/ORIM. This book was released on 2012-10-01 with total page 192 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: A dead Delaware detective uses his ghostly perspective to stop a deranged serial killer from striking again in this “police procedural with a twist” (Kirkus Reviews). Kevin Fahey was a second-rate cop and a lousy father. Following his untimely death, he roams the world in search of other lost souls. At the Holloway Institute for Mental Health in Delaware, he’s drawn to the troubled patients who wander the lonely rooms and corridors. But when a young girl is brutally murdered—seemingly by a convicted serial killer locked up inside the institute—he embarks on a haunting investigation. As Fahey joins the police in tracing the killer’s steps, he must also confront his own personal demons—because one of his sons has joined the troubled youths at Holloway. And when the killing continues, this time on the grounds of the mental hospital itself, there is a very real possibility that his son’s life is in danger. Fahey must find a way to protect those he loves and stop a man he knows to be, quite literally, pure evil.
