An extraordinary true-life saga of courage, trials, and discovery that the Philadelphia Inquirer calls, “an adventure story more thrilling than Defoe or Melville could have imagined,” Crossing the Continent breaks new ground as it challenges the traditional view of American history.

Book Synopsis Beyond the Cross by : Alfred Prempeh-Dapaah
Download or read book Beyond the Cross written by Alfred Prempeh-Dapaah and published by Xlibris Corporation. This book was released on 2014-08-14 with total page 133 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: It is about life beyond the cross. The book takes us through some of what the cross of Calvary actually means and the stages of the life of Christ before, on and beyond the cross after his resurrection and ascension to heaven. In other words, Jesus Christ before the cross was not the same as he hanged on the cross; neither was he the same Jesus Christ after his resurrection and ascension to heaven (2Corinthians 5:16). It is also an effort to throw some light on the cross of Jesus Christ and its connection to Gods plan and power of salvation for mankind; much more, it shares to reveal the rightful position of power and authority of the New Creation in Christ and how he or she can operate in the realms of Gods glory right here on earth.
Book Synopsis Walking Together on the Jesus Road by : Evelyn Hibbert
Download or read book Walking Together on the Jesus Road written by Evelyn Hibbert and published by William Carey Publishing. This book was released on 2018-08-17 with total page 296 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Make discipling culturally relevant. Christians who serve Jesus among people from a different culture than their own often struggle to find a good way to disciple people. Walking Together on the Jesus Road addresses this need by guiding readers through three essential practices for making disciples across cultures: listening to disciples to get to know them and their context, focusing on relationships with Christ, fellow disciples, and others, and enabling disciples to live out their faith in culturally relevant ways. These practices are the foundation for the long-term, intentional process of helping disciples from other cultures become more like Jesus. The book also engages with practical challenges, such as enabling disciples to find and belong to a nurturing community of faith, as well as contextualizing the way we teach the Bible.
Book Synopsis Above and Beyond by : Rev. Richard Young
Download or read book Above and Beyond written by Rev. Richard Young and published by Christian Faith Publishing, Inc.. This book was released on 2021-01-14 with total page 23 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: This book is by far the greatest book written since the Bible itself, and exposition into the mystery of the cross is by far deeper than anything I have ever seen in all my years of life, a confessed sinner who confesses that he lived a riotous and ruthless life all his days. Was he saved? This book reviews the answer to these questions: Was the glory of God on display? If so, who say it? This book shows the prophetic wisdom and the insight, line by line, verse by verse, and the authenticity of truth about the cross. It's about being eternally lost or saved, life or death, the two choices that man must make. What happened on the cross? What happened beyond the cross? What happened to Jesus? What happened to the thief? What was his role with Jesus? What did Jesus preach? What was his text? This book shows not only the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus, but the resurrection of man from death to life. The power of Jesus, the blood of Jesus, the spirit of Jesus, and the body of Jesus, to reach as many men, women, girls, and boys throughout the world with the words of this historic book.
Book Synopsis The Crossing, The Cleansing and Healing of The Nations by : Marcus Ford
Download or read book The Crossing, The Cleansing and Healing of The Nations written by Marcus Ford and published by . This book was released on 2019-12-23 with total page 334 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: The Crossing The Cleansing and Healing of The Nations: The Lord allowed my family and I, to travel to many places near and far, calling us forerunners and those first in flight to take the journey first to receive instructions to better prepare all those that have yet to enter in. The Lord instructed us in the year 2013 - 2014 to document everything we heard and saw from Him, all these things documented being relevant for today. This was a journey about relationship with the Father, and the proper aligning of the body of Christ to Christ the head. It was a returning to our first love. The prodigal son returning home to the Father's house. The lost sheep being found, and coming back fully to the Lord and being Spirit led, manifested sons and daughters of God, only saying what we heard the Father say and only doing what we saw the Father do, being doers and not just hearers of the word of God. It was a journey of going deeper, higher, and farther in our relationship with the Father. It's about showing our love to, towards, and for Him by doing all He commands us to do. After we completed our journey with the Lord He said that it was not only a cleansing and healing for us but, that it was and is the cleansing and healing of the nations. A word we heard as we traveled with the Lord was, "The persecution was going to be allowed making all people uncomfortable until they lined up." As we traveled the Lord said to us that there was no abandoning, going backwards, aborting, or going AWOL on this God mission, God assignment. There was only going forward. After traveling the Lord then laid on our hearts to form the group called, "The Crossing" where He began to have us release the word that we had gathered. The choosing, timing, order was all under His direction to do so. This is a cleansing journey that the Lord is requiring from the whole world. It's time to return to our Creator, Father, God and lover of our souls. He loves us, but it's time for us to love Him in return for the love He has for us. It's time to lay everything down including your life to follow after Him. It's time for the forsaking of all. It's time to make Him Lord of ALL! It's past time!!! Before reading the book be sure that you are sincere about crossing over because there is no going back once you have crossed over.
