Se è vero che per essere buoni cristiani non si deve essere necessariamente liberali, è altrettanto vero che, se il benessere del nostro prossimo e la libertà sono finalità iscritte nel codice genetico del cristianesimo, il liberalismo - nonostante l'avversa opinione di tanti cattolici - è lo strumento più adatto per conseguirle. Un'analisi illuminante che strappa definitivamente dalle mani degli statalisti d'ogni colore l'usurpato e spesso malinteso vessillo della solidarietà.

Pertanto, il mio intento finale sarà quello di mostrare come una prospettiva filosofica personalista di ispirazione cristiana possa dare un contributo importante per combattere le derive nichilistiche e tecnocratiche del paradigma neoliberista responsabili della crisi culturale del nostro tempo.
