Who has not dreamed of being the guy who wins the game with a home run? And how many times have we dreamed of being rich or successful or happy in our relationships? Often we dream big and have big ambitions. Unfortunately, our dreams remain just that - dreams. And our hopes easily gather dust over time and eventually get misplaced , This is a sad turn of events in our lives. Instead of having exciting opportunities in self-actualization, we remain trapped in the monotony of everyday life But you know what? Life could be so much better if we would just learn to set higher goals for ourselves. However, as we shall see in a moment, sometimes we mistakenly get caught in a limbo ,as our mindset could be fixed to a state of absolute presupposition...and it turns out that you could be facing a farce presupposition As such, this orietation suggest hat if you are encountering an unusally tough problem in life - whether it be in business, the arts, sports, your personal life, whatever - it is because you are believing something to be an absolute presupposition which really isn't one. You believe something to be necessarily true and it isn't even true at all, never mind necessarily so. Let's look at some instances. In the Middle Ages people believed that if you sailed a ship out to the line of the horizon, where the sea and sky met, then you would fall off the edge of the planet. Why? Because they believed the Earth was flat. They could not possibly imagine that it could be otherwise because they had no knowledge of the laws of gravity and physics - a round Earth was simply inconceiveable ,this concept theory derived the most common problem with goal setting with common presupposition of the word "impossible." Most people think, "I can not do that. It's too hard. It's too impossible. No one can do it. Let the light shine upon your dreams, in the form of inspiration and optimism. Jealously and pure innocence some time surround your dreams with negativity like a mother bear guards her cubs from danger. If others put your dreams down, the absolute worst thing you could do is to agree with them. Honor your dreams no matter what, no matter how stupid or worthless others may think they are. What others think does not matter, only your own opinion counts. Holding your dreams in high regard will always keep a positive light shining upon them.

Book excerpt: Over 100,000 copies sold! Quit playing it safe and start running toward the roar! When the image of a man-eating beast travels through the optic nerve and into the visual cortex, the brain sends the body a simple but urgent message: run away! That’s what normal people do, but not lion chasers. Rather than seeing a five-hundred-pound problem, they see an opportunity for God to show up and show His power. Chase the Lion is more than a catch phrase; it’s a radically different approach to life. It’s only when we stop fearing failure that we can fully seize opportunity by the mane. With grit and gusto, New York Times best-selling author Mark Batterson delivers a bold message to everyone with a big dream. This is a wake-up call to stop living as if the purpose of life was to simply arrive safely at death. Our dreams should scare us. They should be so big that without God they would be impossible to achieve. Quit running away from what you’re afraid of. Chase the lion! Change the world! What is your five-hundred-pound dream? In this highly anticipated sequel to his best-selling In a Pit with a Lion on a Snowy Day, Mark Batterson invites lion chasers everywhere to chase dreams so impossible that victory demands we face our fears, defy the odds, and hold tight to God. These are the kind of dreams that will make you a bigger person and the world a better place. Based upon 2 Samuel 23, Chase the Lion tells the true story of an ancient warrior named Benaiah who chased a lion into a pit on a snowy day—and then killed it. For most people, that situation wouldn’t just be a problem…it would be the last problem they ever faced. For Benaiah, it was an opportunity to step into his destiny. After defeating the lion, he landed his dream job as King David’s bodyguard and eventually became commander-in-chief of Israel’s army under King Solomon. Written in a way that both challenges and encourages, this revolutionary book will help unleash the faith and courage you need to identify, chase, and catch the five-hundred-pound dreams in your life.

You will look back longingly on risks not taken, opportunities not seized, and dreams not pursued. Stop running away from what scares you most and start chasing the God-ordained opportunities that cross your path. In a Pit with a Lion on a Snowy Day is inspired by one of the most obscure yet courageous acts recorded in Scripture, a blessed and audacious act that left no regrets: “Benaiah chased a lion down into a pit. Then, despite the snow and slippery ground, he caught the lion and killed it” (2 Samuel 23:20 -21). Unleash the lion chaser within! #InAPit “Mark has become one of the most important voices for a new generation. Anything he touches changes lives. Read this book and you’ll see what I mean.” — Craig Groeschel, pastor of Life.Church, author of Chazown and Dare to Drop the Pose “As a leader and teacher, Mark Batterson brings imagination, energy, and insight. I appreciate his willingness to take bold risks and go to extraordinary lengths to reach our culture with a message that is truly relevant.” — Ed Young, senior pastor, Fellowship Church “Don’t settle for a normal life. Conquer your fears, accept His anointing, jump into that pit, chase the lion, and watch God’s Kingdom come in amazing ways.” — Christine Caine, founder of Propel Women, author of Unashamed

Book excerpt: Winner of a 2017 NAACP Image Award for Outstanding Literary Work, this moving manifesto “empowers women to access a fearlessness that will enable community progress” (Essence). Through one incredible woman’s journey from a small Zimbabwe village to becoming one of the world’s most recognizable voices in women’s empowerment and education, this book “can help any woman achieve her full potential” (Kirkus Reviews). Before Tererai Trent landed on Oprah’s stage as her “favorite guest of all time,” she was a woman with a forgotten dream. As a young girl in a cattle-herding village in Zimbabwe, she dreamed of receiving an education but instead was married young and by eighteen, without a high school graduation, she was already a mother of three. Tererai encountered a visiting American woman who assured her that anything was possible, reawakening her sacred dream. Tererai planted her dreams deep in the earth and prayed they would grow. They did, and now not only has she earned her PhD but she has also built schools for girls in Zimbabwe, with funding from Oprah. The Awakened Woman: A Guide for Remembering & Igniting Your Sacred Dreams is her accessible, intimate, and evocative guide that teaches nine essential lessons to encourage all women to reexamine their dreams and uncover the power hidden within them—power that can recreate our world for the better. Tererai points out that there is a massive, untapped, global resource in women who have, for one reason or another, set aside their wisdom, their skills, and their dreams in order to take care of the personal business of their lives. Not only is this a type of invisible suffering experienced by countless women, this rich resource is a secret weapon for improving our world. Women have the capacity to inspire, to create, to transform—and Tererai’s call to action “shines as a beacon of hope to women everywhere” (Danica McKellar, actress and New York Times bestselling author).

Book excerpt: Escape! Her stalker was out on bail. She was sheltering in place in her condo like a prisoner. He was free to walk the streets and she didn’t dare go out for fear of another attack. Her life was in shreds because of one man’s obsession for revenge when she was promoted above him. Miranda Major picked up her handbag, walked out of her home, and got into her car. The interstate stretched in front of her. An escape to a future she never expected with a man she had met before her life had been shattered. Only she would land in a mud puddle, her hair dripping from the rain pouring down when that man astride a big gray horse was staring at her. Archer Channing had been sleek and elegant in his suit when she had first met him, nothing like the rugged male who dismounted with a fluid grace and offered her a hand out of the puddle. Miranda hadn’t had a destination in mind. What had prompted her choice of this place? The farming community of Live Oak was so far removed from the sophistication and polish of South Florida that it could have been on another planet. Archer was a favored son of one of the oldest founding families. She was a woman with no family and danger was right on her heels. Archer, a man she barely knew offered her help and shelter. With Archer, she could finally be Randi, not Miranda. More, he showed her just what a small town could do when faced with a threat to one of its citizens. It didn’t seem to matter that she hadn’t been born in Live Oak. It mattered that Archer stood beside her ready to fight with her against the man who wanted her dead. With Archer came his friends and the justice of small-town law. Had Randi finally found a home? A family? A place to put down roots?
