Das Ziel des Scientific Essays besteht darin, die Chancen und Risiken der Digitalisierung in der Arbeitswelt zu erfassen und zu erläutern. Zunächst widmet sich das Kapitel 2 mit den Grundlagen der Digitalisierung und der ihrer Entwicklung, vor allem unter angesichts der Pandemie, um dem Leser einen Überblick über das Thema zu verschaffen.
