Il s'ensuit qu'ou bien notre espèce : éliminera l'aporie qui corrompt la démocratie, guérira de sa pandémie boulimique consumériste, subordonnera le mode de production industriel à l'artisanerie, restaurera la santé des ressources régénérables de sa planète, réformera à ces effets son système éducatif, ou bien elle refusera de s'amender et elle deviendra toujours plus violemment déséquilibrée naturellement et culturellement. En ce cas, elle disparaîtra après de terribles souffrances n'épargnant ni les riches ni les puissants. Un croissant déséquilibre mondialisé n'est ni durable, ni viable.
