The essence of the matter is that this practice is strictly prohibited in the Catholic Church, and those who pour the Consecrated Wine into the sacrarium incur an automatic penalty of excommunication reserved to the Apostolic See (Canon 1367 of the Code of Canon Law and Paragraph 107 of the instruction on the Eucharist Redemptionis Sacramentum issued by the Congregation for Divine Worship and the Discipline of the Sacraments). For Catholics, who believe in the real presence of the LORD Jesus Christ in the Eucharist, the aforementioned practice is a great liturgical and moral abuse. As a priest, I want to stir up the conscience of those who act contrary to the faith of the Catholic Church, and I dedicate the present book to this issue.
