When only slightly under-exposed, heat the strong oxalate developer up to, or a little beyond blood-heat, so that it feels quite warm to the finger. Lay the print ﬂat in a clean tray, face up, and pour the warmed developer gently over it, giving a circular motion to the hand, in order to cover the print uniformly.
