Based on the Doppler effect man interpret this to mean that all galaxies recede from the observer. It is said that for a time was the galaxies closer together. If one goes further back in time, this means that the entire universe was compressed into a point that exploded. There we have the Big Bang. The author shows through analysis of existing data and measurements that these do not match with Big Bang conclusions.
