It is also great for parents who do not know how to properly explain who God is. As you sit down to read this book together as a family, I pray that it teaches the children but also that it serves as a reminder to the adults as well. God Bless!

What's difficult is communicating your personal story-or that of your organization-in a way that not only rings true, but connects with your audience on a deeper level. Sometimes you're cursed with too much knowledge, unsure of how to relay your story to those who don't know what you know. Other times, you don't believe your story is worth sharing. Here's the truth: there is untapped equity in your story. In his new book Mommy Lied to God, Carlos Maestas wants to help you unlock that equity. You'll learn the characteristics of authentic storytelling and how to apply them so your stories build trust with your audience. If you're struggling with what to say, Carlos will show you how to simplify your message and clearly communicate the value you can offer people. As he shares lessons from his own experiences and those of others, you'll be inspired to live a better story and connect to something bigger than yourself.

Motherhood is a challenge. Unfortunately, our worldly culture offers moms little in the way of real help. Mamas only connect to celebrate surviving another day and to share in their misery rather than rejoice in what God has done and to build each other up in hard times. There has a be a better way, a biblical way, for mamas to grow and thrive. As a daughter of Christ, you have been called to be more than an average mama. Attaining excellence doesn’t have to be unsettling but it will take committed focus and a desire to parent well according to God’s grace and for His glory. M is for Mama offers advice, encouragement, and scripturally sound strategies seasoned with a little bit of humor to help you embrace the challenge of biblical motherhood and raise your children with love and wisdom. Mama, you are worthy of the awesome responsibility God has given you. Now it’s time to start believing you can live up to it.

God has designed motherhood as part of his greater plan to draw people to himself—instilling all women, whether called to traditional mothering or not, with an eternal purpose in nurturing others. In this book, Gloria Furman searches the Scriptures for the mission of God in motherhood. She opens our eyes to God's life-giving promises—promises intended to empower each and every woman as she makes disciples in her home, in her neighborhood, and around the world.

Now in this beautiful keepsake edition, Bombeck's moving words are paired with original art that bring to life the warm portrait of motherhood contained within. An angel marvels at the detail and overtime that the good Lord is putting into his creation of mothers. Despite the six pairs of hands and the three pairs of eyes that every mother needs, the angel thinks she has discovered a flaw:"There's a leak," she pronounced. "I told you that you were trying to put too much into this model.""It's not a leak," said the Lord. "It's a tear.""What's it for?""It's for joy, sadness, disappointment, pain, loneliness and pride.""You are a genius," said the angel. The Lord looked somber, "I didn't put it there."Every mother will treasure this moving tribute, penned by America's most beloved expert on motherhood.

Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Mr. Hatfield with all of his years of experience in marriage, parenting, family, missions and in the Church pulls no punches in calling Christ's Bride to return to His Truth (God's revealed Law-Word) regarding discipleship (men and women of faith and grace) in Manhood and Womanhood, outrageously successful spousal relations, parenting with training in romance, sexual satisfaction, love and marriage! He is calling all believers, especially men, to confession and repentance and to receive, understand and apply these Truths in the Power of the Holy Spirit as the only acceptable response in which God will revive and reform the Family and the Church in the 21st Century! Not for the weak-kneed, weak-minded or humanistically influenced, this is for Christ's Bride as we prepare for and anticipate His return! These applications of God's revealed Law-Word and His uncommon common sense in the lives of America's postmodern Christian culture and especially the promise of duplicating of these successes for love and marriage in our children, is exciting and challenging to the point of precedent setting magnitudes. The reader will experience riveting and exciting challenges to the status quo of our present day Christian culture. "Based on interviews with more than 1000 adults nationwide, the survey discovered that less than one out of every five adults believes that children under the age of 13 are being "superbly" or "pretty well" prepared for life emotionally, physically, spiritually, intellectually or physically. Fewer than one out of every twenty adults believes that America's youngsters are receiving above average preparation in all five of those areas of life." Americans Agree: "Kids Are Not Being Prepared for Life," The Barna Group-October 26, 2004 The couples, who discover the answers to the moral morass of our postmodern Christian culture, are those who know that the future of their children is in jeopardy and that we are in a war for the control of that future! Sadly, the statistics of broken homes, divorces, adultery, domestic violence, drugs and promiscuity - to mention only some of the ills of our culture - are almost equally divided between "Christian" families and non-Christian families. This is unacceptable as a comparison and must change. Consequently, fathers and mothers of faith and grace are those - who are and or who will experience - God's promise of victory over these fruits of our fallen nature and live a marriage experience that captures the best of God's gifts of love, sex and romance in marriage. Daddy's Little Girl and Mommy's Little Boy brings us clear evidence of just how America's Christian couples can have this victory in their marriage and how to duplicate this success in their sons and daughters.

In Lessons from Danny there will be moments you will cry and moments that bring laughter. Did you ever wonder what your pets would say if they could talk? After all, God spoke through a donkeys mouth in the Bible. I encourage you to envision with me as our little mixed Shih Tzu, Danny, gives his version of his testimony of a time in his life that he came to the brink of dying. In February 2012 Danny became very ill. The veterinarian had taken x-rays and found a mass on Dannys stomach that was the size of a softball. He told us Danny wouldnt live longer than one week. We were broken hearted and wept for our little guy. How could this be happening? He was like our little child and part of our family. You will be amazed how God led Fred and Jenny day by day with His wisdom and direction for their loving little Danny. Join Dannys class as he teaches lessons led by the Holy Spirit!

Book excerpt: Why me, is all I ask? My crime was getting drunk, that’s how I dealt with pressure. I never smoked or sold drugs, I invite you to check my record! Drinking is legal, but I stayed intoxicated. For what you ask? It wasn’t drug related. It all started in 1983, when I was hit by a car. Paralyzing my left side, it goes back that far. I died 3 times, my life was robbed. It was a miracle I lived, by the grace of God! Just like a nightmare and tragedy, it was a terrible sight! I wasn’t drunk driving, I was riding a bike! I went through the front window, and out the back. It was a 1983, Cadillac! I stayed in a coma for 6 weeks. The day they pulled the plug, I awoke from sleep! I couldn’t even walk, but I was so determined. I lost a third of my memory, I had a will for learning. I got married the same year, to a beautiful woman! As time went by, the memories kept coming! I went to college, as part of my rehabilitation. I was starting a family, so I had to increase my education! Even though I only had the use of one hand It made me more determined, to be a man! With all I had been through, I wasn’t delirious. Every one of my responsibilities, I took serious! Here is something the doctors stated. If I had used any drugs, I never! Would’ve made it. I went through hell and hot water, and I proved I was able. Though I took care of my family, my wife was unfaithful! Since my accident, I have been butchered and slaughtered!! Though she was unfaithful, she got my two sons and one daughter. Without my kids, I got no lovin. It’s not the fact that she cheated, she cheated with my cousin! She even married him, and that’s when I really started drinking. I should’ve trusted in Jehovah (God) but, I was way beyond thinking! And now, I’m doing time for something, that I’m totally against. I’m stuck between a rock and a hard place, with my back against the fence! It’s been pure hell! And I’ve had enough. I’m living for my kids, so, I can’t give up! What I’m telling you is true, these are all the facts. “Why me, is all I ask?”

From the acclaimed bestselling author of The Accidental Mother and Another Mother's Life comes a moving novel of how having a child really does change your life...forever. When a spur-of-the-moment romantic weekend in Venice has an unexpected outcome, Natalie Curzon thinks she's ready to take on single motherhood. But while it's love at first sight between Natalie and baby Freddie, being on leave from the office, alone all day with her baby and her post-pregnancy hormones, makes her feel trapped in some alien body. Just when she's at her wit's end, a major electrical issue in her London home leads Natalie to a whole new circle of friends. There's handsome, dependable Gary the electrician, and his assistant's young girlfriend Tiffany -- also the mother of a surprise baby. A crazy impulse leads Natalie to invent a husband who's working in Dubai, but when she and Tiffany decide to start a baby group, Natalie finds her lie spiraling out of control. Then Freddie's real father, Jack, unexpectedly reappears, and Natalie realizes just how much there is to win or lose...not just for herself, but her baby as well. A comedy of errors, a lesson in living, but most of all a story told straight from the heart, Mommy By Mistake is a funny and poignant tale for anyone whose heart has ever lifted at the sight of a baby's smile.

Presents, lights, parties, decorations, hosting family, and all the "plastic stuff" we spend an entire paycheck on can get out of control in the blink of an eye. As the holiday pressure grows, you might wonder . . . • How do I teach my children the true meaning of Christmas in a world that calls it a Holiday? • How do I keep all the fun and point them to our Savior at the same time? • Is it possible to connect Baby Jesus, Santa, and even that naughty little Elf? If you have struggled with these questions, then you are in the right place! Join Jennifer on this journey of celebration and watch not only your children, but your whole family embrace the true meaning of Christmas. This is one family's story of how teaching Elfie a little grace, and exploring the life of Jesus through scripture and easy crafts, took their Christmas from self-centered to Kingdom-minded. "Jennifer has penned a tremendous tool for parents to not only teach but become engaged with their children in practical, inspiring ways that will leave indelible marks on their hearts and lives. She employs all five of the senses to drive home some eternal truths of the birth of our Lord and Savior. One has no trouble at all envisioning wide-eyed children as the day to day exercises of learning unfold. This book will leave you hungering for more ways to make other Bible stories come alive as well." - Mike Whitson, Senior Pastor at First Baptist Indian Train, NC
