Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: This generation of parents are better educated and most probably the richest in history but most parents have grown to embrace the fact that the material gain from their labour outweighs everything to the point of setting aside their godly responsibility to their family. The sphere of materialism is so strong that they become disillusioned about the importance of moral and spiritual values. The original intention of building a strong Christian family foundation becomes secondary. Do not ignore the signs of the times: the Christian family is in extreme danger of losing its identity. We need help! The Christian family needs help! The book covers those vital elements in building and maintaining a strong Christian family foundation. You'll discover how to reinforce relationships by clearly illustrating the complementary roles of each member of the family, use your God-given responsibility to build a strong foundation for your home on the rock-solid wisdom, love and understanding, promote the total development and preservation of the family, identify potential family problems and overcome crisis, and learn, act, and teach family values and create strong Christian legacy. Unless we go back to the very foundation of a loving home ruled with wisdom and understanding, with Jesus Christ and the center, the proliferation of commercialism, peer pressure and the obligations imposed by society will press on. You need to invest time and do your homework.

Book excerpt: Living on Solid Ground Most couples struggle at some point in their relationship with hard questions of marriage and family life, such as, what is God's primary purpose for marriage? What does it mean for a man to be the head of a home? Is divorce ever acceptable? How do we raise children who will love God? What does God have to say about the way we communicate, or about sexual intimacy? Authors Steve and Dee Brestin have wrestled with these questions in their own marriage and have found that God's Word is the only reliable blue-print for marriage and family life. This study will guide you through the encouragement that the Bible gives for those relationships. Jesus told us the storms will come and batter our homes, but if we obey him, our house will stand firm.

This book was released on 2014 with total page 277 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Lord, please continue to have mercy on humanity. You have made provisions for everything we need in this world and the world to come. Yet many people although desire good life, are suffering, some are confused, others are desperate, families are broken down, our nation is struggling to cope, many people are lost in spiritual matters and sin. In this book, the author's main argument is that God, in his unfailing love for humanity, has already provided what people are frantically seeking in life. What people need to do is to turn to the Holy Scriptures for guidance. This book can be of such help. You see, when life is calm, our foundations don't seem to matter. But when crisis come, our foundations are tested. In this book, the author also argues that it is a waste of time and effort for people to build their lives on a faulty foundation. Jesus describes God's principles as a solid foundation for people to build their lives on. We are strangers in this world; therefore we need someone who knows the journey of life to guide us. God is the creator of this world, and He alone knows the in and out of this world. His principles provide guidance for a perfect life. The attempts by some groups of people to suppress the knowledge of God in the society have not been very helpful in many ways, although they could not succeed. For example, these people could not provide the society with any viable alternative guiding principles on how people should live their lives. This has led many people to turn to wrong sources for guidance, sometimes with very little success or no success at all leading to a life of despair, hopelessness, and failure. Because of this suppression of God's word, there seems to be famine in our society, famine of truth, famine of the word of God. There is also darkness in our society, many people are confused and some do not know what to do with their lives. But the word of God is light, its gives understanding, it gives hope, it provides guidance on spiritual matters, the salvation of the human soul, and solutions to all our problems. Sometimes, life is easier and beautiful if you know what to do in any situation you find yourself. Many people desire a good family life, peace, joy, hope, self discipline, strength, encouragement, a connection with 'a higher being' that transcends human existence and meaning to life in their spiritual quest. As you read this book, know that I am praying for you for all these blessings in Jesus name, amen. Anthony Bright Atwam. According to scripture, the church is the salt and the light of this world. But the church seems to have locked the resources God has given her to be given to the world in the room and has put the keys in her pocket while the world is suffering. One of the things the church needs to do is to start to unpack and release the resources God has given her to meet the needs of postmodern spiritual quest. Anthony Bright Atwam.

You do not have to be intertwined within an immediate crisis, painful divisions, or huge arguments to benefit from these pages. Faithful Families Today: Instilling Spirituality in Your Family focuses more on solutions instead of analyzing problems. It is not a "top ten suggestions" for a quick family fix. It is, however, a systematic source for those who are serious about building, or rebuilding, families grounded in the teachings of Christ. Decades of pastoral counseling have opened heart-stories of worried parents and grandparents seeking to build spiritual foundations in today's society. This volume, the first in a series, offers information to Christian families for help, hope, and happiness. Dr. John Maples brings a heart connected to God to help people develop a deeper relationship with the Lord. He has a forty-year career in pastoral counseling that he plans to continue indefinitely. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: With so much demand on our time, in and outside the home, and with all the different schedules and things to do each day, when do I find time to read the Bible for my daily spiritual nourishment and direction? And, just as important, when do we find time for family Bible study? Now the help so needed is here and nourishes and fills both of these necessary desires at the same time. The Family Bible Study series is designed to help accomplish both these goals together in the same study, in a good, time-efficient manner. In Book One of the series, Family Bible Studies, you will discover the biblical foundation for the family, the rock-bottom structure (design) and groundbreaking steps forward toward building a strong, stable family. All this is done by reading the Bible and discussing it together. Here is what you will see: the Trinity as the model for growing families on Earth; God’s strong design for the family still stands; His guidelines in the Bible help each of us grow together; a Bible study of eight characteristics of God as a beginning model for individual and family development; an inspirational ending on the fulfillment of the greatest commandment. This is first book of the Family Bible Studies series. The second will center on relationships and the levels that exist. Time studying and applying God’s Word brings great rewards—both now and in the days to come (Is. 55:8–11).

Book excerpt: This book will teach you about building your spiritual house and laying your spiritual foundation. In building a foundation your attitude changes, and you develop the attitude of Christ. Many "born again", Christians do not know they have a foundation that needs to be developed. You must lay a proper foundation so that your house will not come tumbling down. There are different principles that make up the foundation, and it must be laid right. Jesus has laid out the pattern that we must live by. We have been taught natural things from man, but we know little about God. When you first become saved and receive the Holy Spirit, some people think they have it all, but there is fullness to your salvation. This teaching will walk you in the fullness of that salvation, and you will know that it is not about the people or the church building, but it is all about you. This teaching is building you, and when you are built, you can help "build" someone else. This is a spiritual foundation teaching based on the word of God. This book is for people who are serious about God and their life. These people want to complete what God has called them to be. Many start and never finish. Some go halfway then stop. Some may get to the gate and give up, but there are some that will go all the way for the Lord.

I, of course, have failed miserably on occasion. But then, I didn't have Dave's book like you do!"—Kathie Lee Gifford
