It took me a few weeks, then throwing out my scales was a fantastic feeling ...... the hardest bit I think is being honest with yourself. I have been a yo-yo dieter for years, been to clubs, had diet pills - the lot, but finally TTFLS has worked for me ..." Chloe Hillier, 25 "I felt overwhelmed with how much weight I had to lose but with the use of 'Till the Fat Lady Slims' I was able to build up the courage to start my weight loss journey. Slowly but surely I have now lost 3 stone (42lb) in 7 months. Still got a way to go but I've made it this far which at the beginning I thought would be impossible! I'm now aware of my body's signals of hunger and being satisfied! Thank you Debbie." Enjoy! @debbieflint

Written by acclaimed nutritionist and dietitian Nigel Denby, this revolutionary book is ideal for all those who want to stop yo-yo dieting and lose weight permanently while still enjoying their food.

The Pyramid Diet is an exciting and rewarding diet which has lifetime sustainability. It is also the most balanced diet to date: you can eat carbs and you can eat fruit! It is also adaptable to any social situation: you can still go to your local Chinese restaurant, as long as you follow Danni's recommendations as to what to order. Danni also tells you which days are best for cardiovascular and resistance exercises if you want a bikini body in time for the beach this summer. Effective and achievable, The Pyramid Diet provides dieters with the structure they need and allows them to eat the food they love. The weight is over - welcome to a new you!

Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: First published in 1965, the original blurb reads: “At the present time more and more public interest centres on crime, prison and prisoners, and the prison population in this country now exceeds 24, 000. The average cost of keeping a prisoner for one year is over £500 and on the financial side alone it is essential that something is done to reduce crime, and particularly, in Mrs Bishop’s opinion, to reduce the number of men and women reconvicted and sent back to prison. Every year a large number of prisoners are released into society, and undoubtably the biggest problem facing them is their rehabilitation. Some responsibility for after-care rests inevitably on members of the public who, by their attitude to discharged prisoners and their willingness to accept back to society those who have offended against the laws of the country, can influence the attitude of the ex-criminal towards a new way of life. In order to help, it is necessary to understand something of the problems and difficulties a prisoner has to face when he is released, and it is with this need in view that this book has been written. For nineteen years Mrs Bishop, as a magistrate, has been sentencing those who come into the Courts and seeing their records of previous convictions. She has also pioneered an unusual club, restricted to ex-prisoners, which has given her a unique opportunity to study at first hand the problems and difficulties facing a man or woman fresh from prison. The book is full of examples taken from actual experience which gives it unusual human interest. Several probation officers, prison governors and ex-prisoners themselves have read and passed the script as authentic in its facts and true in its implications.” Still a topic of concern today this can be read in its historical context. This book is a re-issue originally published in 1965. The language used and views portrayed are a reflection of its era and no offence is meant by the Publishers to any reader by this re-publication.

Clear, comprehensive, practical advice provides prisoners with everything they need to know on conditions of confinement, civil liberties in prison, procedural due process, the legal system, how to litigate, conducting effective legal research, and writing legal documents. Written by two legal and penitentiary experts with intimate knowledge of prisoner's rights and legal aid work, authors John Boston and Daniel E. Manville strategically focus on federal constitutional law, providing prisoners and those wishing to assist them with the most important information concerning legal rights. Over the past decade, prison law and conditions have changed significantly. This new edition is updated to include the most relevant prisoners' rights topics and approaches to litigation. Updates include all aspects of prison life as well as material on legal research, legal writing, types of legal remedies, and how to effectively use those remedies. Certainly the most authoritative, well-organized and relevant prisoner's rights manual available - - the eagerly awaited fourth edition should be purchased by everyone interested in civil rights for the incarcerated.
