Book excerpt: IF YOU HAVE A UNITED STATES DELIVERY ADDRESS, and would like this book in hardcover (currently on sale in the US for only $9.44), visit: www.BillyShears.com/1.htm.Billy's Back shows how William Shepherd ("Billy Shears") replaced Paul McCartney in The Beatles, going from "Billy Pepper" of Billy Pepper and the Pepper Pots to "Sgt. Pepper" of Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band.Replacing Paul saved the Beatles, but plagued each band member. Now you will know the secret messages and see how to verify the proven facts. Besides many song and album clues that the experts have missed, you will also learn the hard physical evidence. Here are a few examples:Chapter 4 reveals how and why it was proven in court, in Germany, that Sir Paul does not have the same DNA as the earlier Paul McCartney.Chapter 34 identifies the professor in Florida who published the fact that the new and old Pauls have different voiceprints, proving that they are not the same person (since voiceprints are as unique as fingerprints).Chapter 59 recounts the trouble that Sir Paul got into in Japan when his fingerprints did not match those of the original Paul McCartney. Throughout the book, you will learn to easily recognize their distinct physical differences, their personality differences, and the differences in their singing and musical skills. You will also come to know the current Paul's inner-workings about how, even now, he deals with the identity-switch, and how he continues to work to please the Paul who has crossed over. The "Paul is Dead" story has been told before, but never so authoritatively, or with such details of how and why Paul prepared for it, how they made the switch, how and why William took over the band and the McCartney estate, and how the switch in the band improved The Beatles, but tormented them all, especially John and "Paul."When you know what really happened and why, you will never again doubt Paul's death and replacement by William. In addition, as you learn the background of the songs cited, you will never again hear those songs the same way. This book will forever change your perceptions of those songs and of Paul McCartney, John Lennon, The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, The Bonzo Dog Doo-Dah Band, Donovan, The Who, and Elton John--all of whom made songs about Paul's replacement.Billy's Back includes much of the material from The Memoirs of Billy Shears that the public most wants to know of Paul's death and replacement, along with many other fascinating details from The Memoirs, without the loftiest Beatles philosophical attainments (See Beatles Enlightenment www.BillyShears.com/2.htm), and without their darker aspects, such as their Paulism (only available in the unabridged Memoirs www.BillyShears.com/5.htm).Among the world and regional records set by The Memoirs, it includes the world's longest acrostic. You can read more about the hidden acrostical messages at www.billyshears.com/3.htmlThe Memoirs of Billy Shears, the first fully encoded full-length book, is also the first to create messages by word-stacking. On every page of the narrative, with over a thousand instances in all, words are arranged on separate lines to add extra meaning to that chapter. Word-stacking examples can be seen at www.billyshears.com/ws.htm.Along with the same formatting as in the Memoirs, those parts selected for inclusion in Billy's Back have the same encoding--including the same acrostical messages, word-stacking, and also the more subtle encoding. As you read how social engineers promoted The Beatles, and used them to alter world perceptions, Billy's Back will forever change your view, not only of Paul McCartney and The Beatles, but of the world.

Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: (Book). Although he's a showbiz lifer, Billy Vera is cut from a wholly different cloth than his peers. If an artist is measured by their devotion to their craft, Harlem to Hollywood may be the purest treatise on the subject ever produced. All the better, it's also an astounding story. Born into a white, suburban family, Vera fell for black music as a child and started down a winding performer's path that would buoy him the rest of his life. In the sixties, Vera paid his bills by songwriting (for other artists) through the day and playing mobbed up clubs at night. By 1967, as Newark burned on the other side of the Hudson, he and gospel singer Judy Clay, the first interracial duet to perform at the Apollo, tore the house down with a little ditty he wrote for himself: "Storybook Children," a commercial hit produced by Atlantic Records. Through the seventies, popular taste shifted drastically. As blue-eyed soul went out of fashion, Vera, like many other musicians, found himself scrounging for survival gigs, but one crucial difference set him apart: he abstained from the drugs and drink that fueled and eventually claimed so many of his contemporaries. As that decade sputtered to a close, a woman by the name of Dolly Parton recorded Vera's "I Really Got the Feeling" and hit number one on the charts. Riding the tide of this unexpected attention, Vera hightailed it to Los Angeles, formed a new band, Billy and the Beaters, and charted twice before the close of 1981 with songs from their eponymous album recorded live at the Roxy. Five years later, one of these minor hits, "At This Moment," was featured in several episodes of NBC's Family Ties . The song rocketed up the charts and a 42-year-old Vera found himself with his very own number one single. Nine visits to Carson and an American Bandstand appearance later, Vera tasted many other flavors of success: acting both on- and off-camera, producing records, and reissuing his own work. Today, with a star on the Hollywood Walk and Fame and a Grammy in tow, he's finally prepared to share his journey (did we mention that he's also a photographer and music historian who documented every step of career?). To sit down with Billy Vera is to take a personalized tour through nearly fifty years of entertainment history. Won't you come along for the ride?

Book excerpt: Billy Preston was well-known, well-liked and certainly esteemed during his almost five decades in the music industry, often intermingling with the music pantheon of his time, hence the title of the book, "Friends of Billy Preston." Perhaps Billy's most endearing friendship was with George Harrison, who he first met when they both were unknown aspirants trudging toward eventual stardom. They were teenagers when they met shook hands in England, and then in a Hamburg, Germany, music club. Billy was in Little Richard's touring band and George was with his fellow mates in a band called The Beatles, which was on the cusp of stardom - George, Paul, John and Ringo just didn't know it yet.

Book excerpt: (Book). In 1950, Billy Eckstine was the most popular singer in America. Movie-star handsome with an elegant pencil-thin mustache and a wide vibrato, Eckstine possessed one of the most magnificent voices in popular music history. Born in Pittsburgh, Eckstine won a talent contest by imitating Cab Calloway and started leading jazz orchestras under the name Baron Billy. In 1939, he joined Earl Hines' orchestra, composing and performing the hits "Jelly, Jelly" and "Stormy Monday Blues." In 1944, he formed what is now considered the first bebop orchestra that included, during its brief three-year run, legendary figures such as Charlie Parker, Dizzy Gillespie, Miles Davis, and Sarah Vaughan. Signing with MGM, he rose to superstar status, sold millions of records, marketed his own line of "Mr. B." shirt collars, and inspired an army of female admirers, known as "Billy-soxers." Eckstine fought all his life for recognition and respect in his quest to become America's first black romantic singing idol, but he faced hardships in the segregated music world of the '40s and '50s. Despite this, he went on to influence many singers who followed, including Arthur Prysock, Johnny Hartman, Johnny Mathis, Kevin Mahogany, Barry White, and even Elvis Presley. In this book, Cary Ginell traces, for the first time, the life of one of the twentieth century's most amazing success stories, the man known simply as "Mr. B."
