Ziel der vorliegenden Arbeit ist es, neben den bereits bekannten Herausforderungen im beruflichen Kontext auch neue Erkenntnisse zu dem Thema zu gewinnen. Zu diesem Zweck wurden autistische Menschen in einer Studie zu ihren persönlichen Herausforderungen im beruflichen Kontext befragt. Die Ergebnisse der Studie dienen, gemeinsam mit der vorhandenen Literatur, der Beantwortung der Forschungsfrage: Welche besonderen Herausforderungen im beruflichen Kontext haben Menschen im hochfunktionalen Bereich des Autismus-Spektrums? Menschen im Autismus-Spektrum haben häufig mit komorbiden Störungen zu kämpfen. Auch deren Auswirkungen auf das berufliche Leben der Probanden wurde in der Studie der vorliegenden Arbeit überprüft, um die Forschungsfrage „Inwiefern haben komorbide Störungen Einfluss auf das berufliche Leben der Betroffenen?" zu beantworten.
