Book excerpt: The eduational method challenges to higher education engineering lecturers High education (HE) has become more globalized and is slowly changing from being teacher-centered to study-centered. Industry is ever more demanding of graduates' employability and value. Degree programs are required to address the learning outcomes their graduates should attain ( including: discipline and contextual knowledge, practice knowledge and skills and personal and professional attributes). What challenges to higher education engineering lecturers meet? For example, teaching core engineering concepts to assist student engineers to learn how to apply them to solve a problem sometimes supplemented with placements. This is traditional teaching method challenge, so engineering lecturers need to change to apply technological educational method to let engineering students to feel learning more easily. However, new technological teaching method is popular to be applied to lecturers, but it also encounter difficulty, such as students need to understand e.g. risk, critical thinking, business acumen, social desirability of designs and how to adapt their role in innovation to attract student engineers' attention. How to meet demand for engineering graduates? High education is growing into engineering qualifications, essential to attractive, creative, enthusiastic, engaged students from all backgrounds. Thus, higher education engineering lecturers are hoped to train engineering students who can have self-directed learning, transferable skills development. Book excerpt: The resource based theory of university location competitive advantage challengeAccording to the Porter's theory, the resource based theory can apply competitive resources to be identifies to higher education institutions. For higher education institutions, such as resources might include the reputation of certain departments, the grouping together of areas of specialist expertise and the development of technical patents etc. Also higher education resources may not be imperfectly mobile, as the competitive resources of a university identifies tangible, intangible and organizational assets. So, the tangible resources might include campus location, building capacity, conference facilities and medical research facilities. Intangible resources generally include such items as patents, teaching and research performance, service levels and technology and the geographical location of a service. In a university, such intangible resources might include some of the above and may also include employees/ associates, e.g. experienced professors, renowned authors and distinguished teachers. Also, the location of a university can be accepted as physical and tangible resources of a university. However, I believe location is shown as an important factor to affect the students' university enrolment selection decisions. To sources of competitive advantages are thought to be the reputation of the institution, the curriculum and educational standards, school fees ( tuition), location and student activities etc. different factors. Moreover, any university's general client segments include such as, high school graduates, elderly students and international students, that have been influenced by several factors when selecting the best university to study. One of these factors is again location, the proximity to home and easy transportation is critical factor in selecting a university. Presumably, institutions that are located along well-established public transit routes have a competitive advantage over those with poor transit links. Due to the efficiency of innovation activity increased in easily accessible locations with a high density of economic activity. The existence of education and research institutions as well as easily available information is suggested as a reason for this increase. Also private higher education institutions desire to benefit from these flows by locating itself nearby. Therefore, together with other factors, such as existing capital global flows should be existing capital and population, level of income and location decisions of foundation universities. The location, social life campus, proximity of campus to the city center, exchange programs, the curricula infrastructure, languages medium of instruction and activities are the most significant factors to influence students to choose which university to study. By the past statistic indicated that the location has 94% rate, the proximity of campus to the city center has 84% rate. So, it seems the proximity of campus to the city center factor is more prior choice to compare with the school location is close to the student home factor.Huang (2012) stated that " the right location attracts more students and ensures the revenues of the institution. The location of an educational institution might influence its future prospect of growth. A good location attracts not only more students, but also excellent teaching staff." Because of job opportunities areas, the students are able to get a part-time job and earn extra money for their tuition ( Huang, 2012). Marketing concept has four "P," it can apply to university educational business, such as educational promotion, tuition price, teachers of people and school campus location of place.

So, with a better understanding of student individual fun learning environment and fun teaching method learning need and fun courses teaching learning contents , subjects choices etc. these factors will possible bring knowledg to design more effective learning policies and improve student individual learning outcomes. Moreover, improving student learning attitude factor is also important to raise whose learning interest. For example, by reading motivational passages or watching tagic movies which can encourage students to focus on positive identifies related to learning and intellectual curiosity may be one approach a growing evidence suggests that many students and parents are not fully informed about education costs , future economic and non-economic related benefits and options. It is possible related to whose low-income family backgrounds and poor learning attitude both factors. So, if the family was one high income family, it will have possible to influence whose sons or daughts to build good learning attitude. When they have good learning attitude and good family growing relatonship . Theb, they will raise learning interest , due to they had built from good learning attitude when they are living in one good family relationship environment. In special, when the family is one low income family and low educational level background, parents will beed to work, so they will neglect to teach whose sons or daughters to know whether they ought how to learn easily, which wil be one correct or right learning attitude to learn by themselves successfully. They will neglect and lack useful educational recommendation to compare education cost, future economic and non-economic eduational benefits and learning attitude and opinion methods and the suitable courses and teaching books contents opinions to let whose their sons and/or daughters to know how to learn effectively by themselves, instead of school teaching method. So, these students' parents' lacking useful learning recommendation or negligent education learning recommendaton behaviors which will also cause the low income family students to build " discouraged hard learning attitude" to let them to raise interest to learn any more new knowledge persuasively. Even, due to the non-educational behavioral opinion of pre-school decision making opinion, if the parents discovered that the school is one suitable school to let their sons and/or daughters to learn persuasively or attratively in order to let they can earn good examination resultsor pass subjects more easily. Then, these disappointed parents and low grade examination result of students will feel need to learn more hardly if they are still not improving theire grade when they feel that they had been studying hardly in the school. Consequently, it will bring more negative learning emotion to the students and families. Hence, disappointing or poor or negative learning attidude or emotion to the student's feeling , this factor must not raise the student individual interest to learn in the school. Otherwise, positive or good learning emotion or attitude will influcence the student to raise learning interest to continue to learn in the school consequently. hence, schools ought not neglect to improve students to build positive learning emotion or attitude habitually in order to raise whose interest to learn in the school more easily.

Book excerpt: Winner of the Nobel Prize in Economics Get ready to change the way you think about economics. Nobel laureate Richard H. Thaler has spent his career studying the radical notion that the central agents in the economy are humans—predictable, error-prone individuals. Misbehaving is his arresting, frequently hilarious account of the struggle to bring an academic discipline back down to earth—and change the way we think about economics, ourselves, and our world. Traditional economics assumes rational actors. Early in his research, Thaler realized these Spock-like automatons were nothing like real people. Whether buying a clock radio, selling basketball tickets, or applying for a mortgage, we all succumb to biases and make decisions that deviate from the standards of rationality assumed by economists. In other words, we misbehave. More importantly, our misbehavior has serious consequences. Dismissed at first by economists as an amusing sideshow, the study of human miscalculations and their effects on markets now drives efforts to make better decisions in our lives, our businesses, and our governments. Coupling recent discoveries in human psychology with a practical understanding of incentives and market behavior, Thaler enlightens readers about how to make smarter decisions in an increasingly mystifying world. He reveals how behavioral economic analysis opens up new ways to look at everything from household finance to assigning faculty offices in a new building, to TV game shows, the NFL draft, and businesses like Uber. Laced with antic stories of Thaler’s spirited battles with the bastions of traditional economic thinking, Misbehaving is a singular look into profound human foibles. When economics meets psychology, the implications for individuals, managers, and policy makers are both profound and entertaining. Shortlisted for the Financial Times & McKinsey Business Book of the Year Award
