Book excerpt: Aquaponic gardening is one of the best gardening options nowadays. This type of gardening refers to growing plants and fish at the same time. In other words, you use one aquaponics system that allows you to keep a garden and an aquarium at the same time. There are several reasons why aquaponic gardening is a good option nowadays. First, it is a very economical option. You only need to spend for a single system but have two types of hobbies or business opportunities. You don't need to have a separate place for your farm and your aquarium or fish pond as well as you get to utilize the same water for your tank and for watering your plants, so you get to save money.

Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: What Is Aquaponics Aquaponics is essentially the combination of Aquaculture and Hydroponics. Both aquaculture and hydroponics have some down sides, hydroponics requires expensive nutrients to feed the plants, and also requires periodic flushing of the systems which can lead to waste disposal issues. Re-circulating aquaculture needs to have excess nutrients removed from the system, normally this means that a percentage of the water is removed, generally on a daily basis. This nutrient rich water then needs to be disposed of and replaced with clean fresh water. While re-circulating aquaculture and hydroponics are both very efficient methods of producing fish and vegetables, when we look at combining the two, these negative aspects are turned into positives. The positive aspects of both aquaculture and hydroponics are retained and the negative aspects no longer exist. Aquaponics can be as simple or as complex as you'd like to make it, the simple system pictured above is made from one IBC (Intermediate Bulk Container). The top was cut off and turned upside down to become a growbed for the plants. Water is pumped up from the fish tank into the growbed. The water trickles down through the media, past the roots of the plants before draining back into the fish tank. The plants extract the water and nutrients they need to grow, cleaning the water for the fish. There are bacteria that live on the surface of the growbed media. These bacteria convert ammonia wastes from the fish into nitrates that can be used by the plants. The conversion of ammonia into nitrates is often termed "the nitrogen cycle." Book excerpt: Would you like to start growing organic vegetables, fruit, herbs at home, while fish does all the work and even on a low cost?If yes, read on ...Inside you will find and discover everything you need about Aquaponic gardening: ✂️✂️✂️✂️Aquaponic gardens produce food with a reduced amount of water compared to a conventional yard. Aquaponics is now popular with people concerned with nutrition, the prevention of synthetic sweeteners, and environmental protection. You can create an aquaponic garden almost anywhere you are ready to bring light and space with a footprint as small as a square foot. The science and operation of Aquaponics are pure. When you set up your machine, you don't need to germinate or bend the water. You will be able to grow more plants in less space than in a traditional garden, and your plants will grow faster and more substantially.✂️✂️✂️✂️The science of Aquaponics in the 21st century is the custom of raising fish and vegetables in a symbiotic recirculation system. It is a marriage of Hydroponics and aquaculture in which fish create chemicals that simplify the expensive chemical fertilizers used in Hydroponics. Subsequently, the plants oxygenate the water to make it suitable for fish, replacing expensive filters and aeration equipment used in aquaculture.✂️✂️✂️✂️Aquaponics has existed for centuries, practiced in China, where fish were raised near prosperous rice fields, and by the ancient Aztecs who built floating barges called chinampas in Mexico. Chinampas were mostly a network of canals that supported the growth of various crops on these floating islands. Plant growth was fueled and supported by the nutrient-rich waste at the bottom of these channels.SYSTEM ✂️✂️✂️✂️Getting an aquaponics system can be a chore and very expensive. Opting for a cheaper system could be very risky as it might not adequately provide the desired solution. To avoid being a scam victim, there are specific questions to ask yourself before embarking on Aquaponics. How fast and easy can the aquaponics system be?✂️✂️✂️✂️One of the critical things to consider before getting an aquaponics system is availability. So how can it be easily acquired? This ensures that your aquaponics system will arrive safely and quickly, thus ensuring efficiency. Therefore, do well to try to get your aquaponics system from your locality or a place where it can be delivered in little or no time. This book provides a complete guide to the following: ✅What is aquaponic gardening?✅Benefits of growing your fruits, vegetables, herbs, and fish with Aquaponics✅THINGS TO TAKE INTO CONSIDER WHEN OPENING AN AQUAPONICS✅Aquaponics system: safe nutrition and public perception.✅The symbiotic relationship between an aquaponics culture bed and an aquarium.✅THE BEST FISH FOR YOUR AQUAPONICS GARDEN✅Aquaculture System Facts About Fish Care Physical Stress✅The game of worms in the aquaponics system✅Frequently asked questions about the aquaponic worm.✅ESSENTIAL WAYS TO MANAGE YOUR PLANTS AND LIGHT UP THE PLANTS✅HOW TO CHOOSE AND MAINTAIN A GOOD AQUAPONICS SYSTEM✅How to select and maintain a sound aquaponics system✅TIPS AND TRICKS FOR IMPROVING PLANT HEALTHWould you like to know more?Scroll to the top of the page and click the buy-now button
