Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: My book is about three girls who are very mean and rich. They came from different states, and they also run the school. The three popular girls are so very rich and very spoiled to the bone. Each of the three girls have different personalities; they are always expressing their styles of clothes that all 3 of them wear to school everyday. Chloe tries to spend all of her money so she can buy clothes online. She does not get along with her sister Amy. Chloe hates going to school every day; she is mean to a lot of people at that school. Chloe never gets to spend any time with her beau because she is always working and also doing her homework after she gets off from work. The two of them argue a lot. She does not have the perfect family. She is the hottest chick at school. Summer is just the sweetest person that you will ever meet. She does not always yell at people. Her favorite color is yellow. Summer has a sister named Naomi. Let me tell you something else, they never agree on anything with each other you could possibly name of. The two of them would definitely honestly fight about it. Summer used to have a boyfriend named Max, but I am not going to tell you what happened to their past relationship. Kaylee was the more fly chick and a hot, sexy chick. She was not always so sweet for looks can be so deceiving. She can stay mad at anyone for a very long time. It takes her a long time to get over something that made her very angry. I totally forgot where Kaylee lives anyway. Kaylee loves going to school; she is a straight A-student. She loves to party with her friends and drink all night long. Kaylee really does not have a curfew; she can come home anytime. She would never date any guys that have really bad breath. Kaylee’s high school sweetheart is Jake Stanley. The two of them have been dating ever since middle school and now in high school. She fell head over heels for that guy. He rides motorcycles. He is basically the love of her life. Jake and Kaylee do everything together like going out dancing or hanging out with his friends. They make the perfect couple. He makes her laugh and smile. They both make each other happy. What they have is real love, not puppy love. So you need to read to find out what happens to these three girls in my book. It is a very interesting book, You are going to really like it. It is very funny at the same time and very sad too. There are a lot of funny parts in the book that make me laugh.

Unfortunately, disguised as Lady Peacock, Lady Dorothea “Dory” Tillsbury has done one of the worst things imaginable for a proper young lady. She’s falling in love with the masquerade’s host, a gentleman who doesn’t even know her name and, worse, is completely unsuitable. He is also so far above her touch that there is no chance he will ever notice her. The so-called “Lord Raven of Dionysus,” Lord Jeremy Dunn has known Lady Dory’s identity from the moment she walked into his club dressed like a harlot. He’s also been completely enchanted by her and wants nothing more than to coax her into his bed, no matter how bad of an idea that might be. One night, Jeremy makes Dory an offer she can’t refuse – become his temporary mistress before she is forced to settle down into a loveless marriage with a man who ignores her. Will Dory make the proper decision or will she follow her heart straight into Jeremy’s bed? More importantly, can these two star-crossed lovers be together outside the mysterious midnight world of the masquerade or is their affair doomed to end in the harsh light of day?

Jeremy's summer takes an unexpected turn when a mysterious wooden box arrives in the mail. According to the writing on the box, it holds the meaning of life! Jeremy is supposed to open it on his thirteenth birthday. The problem is, the keys are missing, and the box is made so that only the keys will open it without destroying what's inside. Jeremy and Lizzy set off to find the keys, but when one of their efforts goes very wrong, Jeremy starts to lose hope that he'll ever be able to open the box. But he soon discovers that when you're meeting people named Oswald Oswald and using a private limo to deliver unusual objects to strangers all over the city, there might be other ways of finding out the meaning of life. Book excerpt: World events should not distract the Foreign and Commonwealth Office (FCO) from its efforts to promote a stronger bilateral relationship between the UK and Brazil. The rise of Brazil as a world power represents an opportunity for the UK, not a threat and the FCO is correct to identify Brazil's potential to be a "good news story" for the UK. The UK has taken the correct preliminary steps to strengthen the bilateral relationship. The UK's support for permanent Brazilian membership of the UN Security Council, as part of a wider UN reform is to be particularly welcomed. Brazil as a developing, democratic country can play a vital role in representing the "global South". The Government must maintain its efforts in this area. As Brazil increasingly accepts the global leadership role that its growing economy will bring, it will play a key role in the promotion of UK national interests such as energy security, the trade in narcotics and the maintenance of the environment, while the commercial opportunity that Brazil represents is a vital plank of the Government's ambition to increase trade overseas. The turning away of a Royal Navy vessel is a serious matter. The committee regrets that Brazil felt the need to refuse docking permission to HMS Clyde in January this year, and further regrets a general hardening of Brazil's position towards the Falklands. The committee is pressing for answers from the FCO as to how this situation was allowed to develop.

Book excerpt: Born into the flaming trenches of a true spiritual hell, Lacey Hart spends her impoverished childhood lost in the strange shadow world between heaven and the demonic underworld in her senses. She uses religion to mold herself into The Perfect Daughter so that she might evade her disturbed mother's malevolence. Lacey is a demure child whose primrose sweetness and white-laced stoicism hearken back to the puritanical era- times when bewitchment infiltrated even the purest breath of beauty. In school she is an idiot savant, and she believes herself to be haunted by the devil. But outside the physical, emotional, and sexual torture chamber of her home, Lacey rarely ruffles feathers. Then she turns eighteen. Her sexuality, which she has always felt had its roots in evil, blooms like an overripe fruit from the center of her soul. Around the same time, Lacey and her best friend Sabrina uncover the gift that has both defined and isolated them all their lives: intuition. Emerging from the coccoon of their silence into awareness, the two friends find themselves also immersed in the dark side of magic. It is on this spiritual cusp between heaven and hell that they experience the heights of ecstasy- but drift inevitably toward the dredges of humanity on the outskirts of life. Like twinned flames, Lacey and Sabrina embark upon the bohemian "magical mystery tour" of their twenties with the quixotic candor and unexpected bravery of the truly eccentric. Then grave illness strikes, unplanned pregnancy arises, and they learn the power of true love to bloom one's spirit into the oneness with all things that is true freedom. The story of two women who dare to submerge themselves completely into any given moment, Lily Whites of Steel is a fearless exploration of the thin line between freedom and destruction, dogma and authentic mysticism, and- perhaps most hauntingly of all- truth and madness.

This sixty-day devotional is for the Enthusiast, number 7 of the Enneagram personality types. This book will help Enthusiasts, and those who love them, better understand how God created them and how best to use their unique gifts to serve Him and love others. It features a full explanation of what the Enneagram is and how it benefits people, followed by a full description of what it means to be a 7, including the Enthusiast’s deadly sin and their greatest strength. Some attributes of the Enthusiast: Motivation: To be satisfied. This leads to Sevens pursuing the things they think will bring them happiness and true satisfaction in life. Biggest Fear: Sevens fear being deprived or in pain. They avoid negative emotions as much as possible. Head Triad: Sevens, along with Fives and Sixes, receive all information as something that needs to be thought over and analyzed before they can trust their feelings or gut to process it. Sevens take information in as something to analyze, and then they move on to feeling. The sixty days of this devotional are split into six 10-day topics that include uniqueness, weakness, strength, pain points, and how Enthusiasts react in times of stress and growth.

Book excerpt: The new arrangements implemented at the top of the Civil Service on the retirement of Sir Gus O'Donnell could lead to weaker leadership and disperse power at a critical time of change in government and that they will not succeed unless ministers, and particularly the Prime Minister, accords the two roles - Cabinet Secretary and Head of the Civil Service - equal power and status. There is a risk that the Cabinet Secretary will be "top dog", and the Head of the Civil service will be relegated to a subservient role rendering him ineffective. The report makes public for the first time an organisation chart of the new arrangements. The key findings are: doubts whether the new Head of the Civil Service, Sir Bob Kerslake, will be able to fulfil all the duties set out in his lengthy job description in the two days per week allocated to the post, while also acting as Permanent Secretary in a major department of state; Sir Bob must have the seniority and the ear of the Prime Minister in order to fulfil his role and parity of status with the Cabinet Secretary; he must attend Cabinet regularly on the same basis as the Cabinet Secretary; PASC recommends a full-time Head of the Civil Service who should also be Permanent Secretary in the Cabinet Office, overseeing a stronger centre of government able to implement change across Whitehall; the Government should conduct a full of review these changes in July 2012.

Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: This book presents an answer to the question of why modern legal institutions and the idea of citizenship are important for leading a free life. The majority of views in political and legal philosophy regard the law merely as a useful instrument, employed to render our lives more secure and to enable us to engage in cooperate activities more efficiently. The view developed here defends a non-instrumentalist alternative of why the law matters. It identifies the law as a constitutive feature of our identities as citizens of modern states. The constitutivist argument rests on the (Kantian) assumption that a person’s practical identity (its normative self-conception as an agent) is the result of its actions. The law co-constitutes these identities because it maintains the external conditions that are necessary for the actions performed under its authority. Modern legal institutions provide these external prerequisites for achieving a high degree of individual self-constitution and freedom. Only public principles can establish our status as individuals who pursue their life plans and actions as a matter of right and not because others contingently happen to let us do so. The book thereby provides resources for a reply to anarchist challenges to the necessity of legal ordering.
