Book excerpt: "Getting Away with MURDER?--Sylvia's Last Case?" tells the stories of the WRONGFUL DEATHS of Obama's lover for over 20 years and Choir Director of Rev. Jeremiah Wright's Trinity Church, Don Young on 12/23/7 and Kim's beloved wife and soulmate who 50 years, Sylvia, while she was investigating this Murder and later, that of Obama's grandmother, Madelyn Dunham, who also died under questionable circumstances. (Cf. 11/22/11 letter to Homeland Security.) Sylvia first learned of Larry Sinclair's story of the Murder of Don Young when he posted it on YouTube as a way of protecting himself. Soon thereafter, Larry was deliberately discredited when he foolishly took a rigged polygraph. Jerry Corsi of WND tried to Warn Larry, but he didn't listen. While Larry Sinclair told his story of the murder of Don Young to Hillary's Senior aides and Gretta Van Sustern, he was deliberately arrested on orders of Joe Biden's son, Beau, and kept in jail during the time of the 2008 Democratic convention. What people did not know at the time was that Larry's limo driver in his 1999 encounter with Obama, Jagir P Multani, was an integral part of Tony Rezko's "sex and influence peddling" operations in Illinois. The book also shows how Rod Blagojevich ended up being used as a Patsy by David Axelrod so that any knowledge that Rezko had concerning the death of Don Young remained suppressed. Finally, while Kim was battling Sylvia's iatrogenic leukemia, she also suffered a fully avoidable stroke. In spite of Sylvia's precarious condition, she gave Kim permission to pay Orly Taitz to fly from California to file a challenge against Obama's New Hampshire nominating petitions based on the lack of a valid birth certificate. Kim also wrote to Homeland Security warning of the potential dangers of a "Nuclear Reichstag" thus breaking the "cover" he had maintained in order to Protect Sylvia. Although Kim had been on staff at St. Joseph Hospital for over 15 years without incident, within three weeks Kim was "summarily suspended" simply for trying to Protect Sylvia. Although Kim successfully treated Sylvia's leukemia with Monoclonal Antibodies, SJH refused to honor Sylvia's Advance Directive for Kim to be her POA and for her to remain Full Code. St. Joseph Administration and Its Lawyers (SJAIL) deliberately stood by and watched over a period of SEVEN DAYS as Sylvia slowly DROWNED TO DEATH on her own secretions when she could have easily been saved, just as with Madelyn Dunham. So that Sylvia's Wrongful Death might not be in vain, in late October 2012, Kim reached out to Jerry Corsi and Donald Trump to seek their help in telling the Truth. On Monday, 10/29/12, Trump teased that he would have a "huge" announcement that Wednesday. The following day, Jerry Corsi was on Romney's private plane to convince him to use the birther information, including Kerning-Lay-Back, while there was Still Time to Make A Difference. When Kim called Jerry later that day to ask "Is Romney In or Out?" Jerry replied, "He's out." Subsequently, on Wednesday, 10/31/12, Trump backpedaled the issue by announcing instead that he would give $5M to charity if Obama would agree to release his college records. To this day, the story remains untold. At the very minimum, these WRONGFUL DEATHS have been basically uninvestigated and, most certainly, unsolved. This book intends to tell these stories and seek JUSTICE for Don, Sylvia and countless other victims of Arrogance, Stupidity and Systematic Abuse of Power (ASSs) over the millennia by "making something very GOOD out of something very Bad." So it shall be.

Book excerpt: It was a classic showdown between Minnesota and Los Angeles in the Metrodome. No one could understand why we were in game seven of the World Series and Eli McBrien had not been seen since game one, when he struck out twenty-four batters in eight innings. Todd Rucket was up to bat. Against the LA pitching staff, he had been making all the pitchers look like rank amateurs. Henderson, LA's manager, walked out to the mound. Eli had been warming up gently through the last inning. His arm seemed a bit sore. But when the game was on the line, they were going to go with their twenty-year-old sensation. Young Eli McBrien has a secret ambition. This ambition is not to be the greatest pitcher ever to step on a baseball diamond (even though he is). It's not to make millions of dollars (even though he eventually does.) His secret ambition is developed by God the Father Himself as he guides Eli through his life. Every aspect of his life is pointed toward that secret ambition. Follow along on Eli's journey in Eli: Greatness Begins to see how the Father guides Eli McBrien through trials and triumphs on and off the diamond.

Book excerpt: The Presidency of Barack Obama was characterized by radical policy shifts—the implementation of Obamacare (the first steps toward socialized medicine); unprecedented expansion of the big government regulatory state; the prioritization of pie-in-the-sky environmental concerns over jobs and economic growth; a foreign policy based on secret dealings, appeasement, and “leading from behind”; and a concerted effort to institutionalize political correctness in colleges, high schools, and even elementary schools across the nation. But within the blink of an eye, nearly the entire Obama legacy has been undone before the end of Donald Trump’s first term in office. This remarkable book details the scope of the Trump upheaval, exploring the destructive path Obama set the nation toward, how Trump has begun to right the ship…and how much more still needs to be done. Many of the Americans who voted for Donald Trump did so simply to oppose the Clinton machine and to block a continuation of the Obama era. They had little hope or expectation that Trump would make good on his promises to undo the entire Obama agenda. This book not only details how Trump made good on those promises and saved America from Obama's legacy, but also makes the case for why Trump deserves reelection in 2020.

Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Most scientists and researchers aren’t prepared to talk to the press or to policymakers—or to deal with backlash. Many researchers have the horror stories to prove it. What’s clear, according to Nancy Baron, is that scientists, journalists and public policymakers come from different cultures. They follow different sets of rules, pursue different goals, and speak their own language. To effectively reach journalists and public officials, scientists need to learn new skills and rules of engagement. No matter what your specialty, the keys to success are clear thinking, knowing what you want to say, understanding your audience, and using everyday language to get your main points across. In this practical and entertaining guide to communicating science, Baron explains how to engage your audience and explain why a particular finding matters. She explores how to ace your interview, promote a paper, enter the political fray, and use new media to connect with your audience. The book includes advice from journalists, decision makers, new media experts, bloggers and some of the thousands of scientists who have participated in her communication workshops. Many of the researchers she has worked with have gone on to become well-known spokespeople for science-related issues. Baron and her protégées describe the risks and rewards of “speaking up,” how to deal with criticism, and the link between communications and leadership. The final chapter, ‘Leading the Way’ offers guidance to scientists who want to become agents of change and make your science matter. Whether you are an absolute beginner or a seasoned veteran looking to hone your skills, Escape From the Ivory Tower can help make your science understood, appreciated and perhaps acted upon.

Book excerpt: The Case Against Barack Obama by National Review's David Freddoso blasts Obama for failing to take on the Chicago machine, for listening to "radical advisors," and for backing "doctrinaire liberal" causes from teachers unions to abortion rights. It does not, however, compare him to Paris Hilton, or dwell at length on his religion or race - making the substance of The Case Against Barack Obama sound unfamiliar amid a campaign cacophony of hyperbolic web ads, alleged race cards, and viral smears.Freddoso says John McCain's campaign and Republicans at large are making the wrong case against the Illinois senator. You don't beat him by comparing him to Paris Hilton, as McCain's latest advertising campaign did; the more important thing is really to look at who he is. Is he really a great reformer? Or just another liberal?

Robert Kaiser, former managing editor of The Washington Post, writes in his new Brookings Essay that the changing media landscape is not only a threat to traditional news, but to the future of democracy. A news industry without a viable business model, distracted by the need to attract eyeballs and discover new revenue streams, could lose the ability to provide the balanced, comprehensive, and investigative journalism that is the lifeblood of a healthy democracy. THE BROOKINGS ESSAY: In the spirit of its commitment to high-quality, independent research, the Brookings Institution has commissioned works on major topics of public policy by distinguished authors, including Brookings scholars. The Brookings Essay is a multi-platform product aimed to engage readers in open dialogue and debate. The views expressed, however, are solely those of the author. Available in ebook only.

Book excerpt: NATIONAL BESTSELLER • By the pioneer of lifestyle medicine, a simple, scientifically program proven to often reverse the progression of the most common and costly chronic diseases. Long rated “#1 for Heart Health” by U.S. News & World Report, Dr. Ornish’s Program has recently been shown to often improve cognition and function in patients with early-stage Alzheimer’s disease. Dr. Ornish’s program for reversing heart disease is now covered by Medicare when offered virtually at home. “The Ornishes’ work is elegant and simple and deserving of a Nobel Prize since it can change the world!”—Richard Carmona, MD, MPH, 17th Surgeon General of the U.S. Dean Ornish, M.D., has directed revolutionary research proving, for the first time, that lifestyle changes can often reverse—undo!—the progression of many of the most common and costly chronic diseases. Medicare and many insurance companies now cover Dr. Ornish’s lifestyle medicine program for reversing chronic disease because it consistently achieves bigger changes in lifestyle, better clinical outcomes, larger cost savings, and greater adherence than have ever been reported—based on over forty years of research published in the leading peer-reviewed medical and scientific journals. Now, in this landmark book, he and Anne Ornish present a simple yet powerful new unifying theory explaining why these same lifestyle changes can reverse so many different chronic diseases and how quickly these benefits occur. They describe what it is, why it works, and how you can do it: • Eat well: a whole foods, plant-based diet naturally low in fat and sugar and high in flavor • Move more: moderate exercise such as walking • Stress less: including meditation and gentle yoga practices • Love more: how love and intimacy transform loneliness into healing With seventy recipes, easy-to-follow meal plans, tips for stocking your kitchen and eating out, recommended exercises, stress-reduction advice, and inspiring patient stories of life-transforming benefits—for example, several people improved so much after only nine weeks they were able to avoid a heart transplant—Undo It! empowers readers with new hope and new choices.
