Book excerpt: Les modifications de la population générale et de la population saignante impliquent de nombreuses mutations dans l'exercice de la médecine générale. L'exercice en groupe et les maisons de santé se sont développés. Cette étude qualitative a été menée en Ardèche auprès de dix médecins généralistes installés en groupe. L'objectif principal était de décrire les avantages et les inconvénients à l'exercice en groupe à travers leurs ressentis. L'objectif secondaire était de trouver les moyens de lutter contre les différents inconvénients. Il est apparu différents avantages, tels que les échanges humains ou professionnels et une meilleure gestion du temps. L'exercice en groupe implique également un meilleur confort dans l'exercice grâce à une augmentation des charges qui peut être assez lourde. L'inconvénient principal retrouvé lors de cette étude est d'ordre humain, mais nous avons également retrouvé certaines contraintes comme le départ d'un confrère ou une gestion parfois délicate des urgences. Le meilleur moyen pour lutter contre les différents inconvénients retrouvés lors de cette étude est la communication. Mais il est également apparu différents outils pour améliorer l'exercice en groupe avec la connaissance de ses futurs associés, la rédaction de contrats précis ou l'acquisition de connaissance en management. Ce travail apporte aux internes et aux jeunes médecins des connaissances importantes sur l'exercice en groupe. Il donne également quelques clés afin d'optimiser le quotidien en groupe

As is stressed in the Global Strategy on Human Resources for Health: Workforce 2030, there can be no viable national, or global, health system without an effective health workforce. The Global Strategy, adopted at the Sixty-ninth World Health Assembly in May 2016, challenges the erroneous narrative of health workers as a unit of cost in the production of health. The evidence instead presents an intersectoral agenda on the pre-condition of equitable access to health workers in the attainment of universal health coverage, along with a dynamic labour market understanding of the substantive impact on education, employment, jobs and innovation in the health and social care economy. The Global Strategy, therefore, enables governments and other relevant stakeholders to adopt a holistic, rather than fragmented, approach to ensuring that the health workforce contributes both to improved health and to broader socioeconomic development.
