Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Contains two short stories. The first is when Jane lets another guy take her for the first time in a Fetish club. And the second is what happened at TG (Torture Garden) in London the following week. Excerpt from chapter 1. Jane was now laying right back into me and her legs were wide open, when I saw another couple, standing up right in front of us and the woman was wanking a black guy’s cock. He was massive to say the least and they were both staring down at the guy who was about to start licking and sucking on Jane’s smooth, tight shaved pussy. The girl laying next to Jane was now fingering Jane in between her husband licking her and then offering her fingers up to him to suck again... Jane’s pussy must have been soaking wet and I just started kissing her mouth while the guy and girl worked on making her cum. I then looked up and saw that the black guy, who was standing in front had stepped over the guy between her legs and his wife was offering this huge long cock to the slim girl fingering Jane. As she leaned forward to take the end of his cock in her mouth, I saw Jane had her right hand between the slim girl’s legs and was fingering her too... This nearly made me cum... but I managed to hold back and moved Jane’s hand off my cock and up to the monster black cock that the girl was sucking. Jane gripped the base and it must have been at least 10 inches long and so fat that... her little hand couldn’t go right around it. All of a sudden Jane started to cum… she lifted her pussy up from the seat and arched her back as she screamed out in pleasure. The guy between her legs still had his head buried between her legs and was what seemed to be trying to hold her pussy to his mouth. Then he had to release her as Jane gushed a massive amount of liquid all over his face and the floor. He moved to the side to let Jane recover and was now watching his wife suck on the end of the massive black cock. Jane had let go and was laying on me legs wide apart and looking absolutely exhausted. The black guy had now stepped forward and reaching down between Jane’s legs… he started fingering her again. His partner who was white and looked like a real sexy slut with a tattoo on her belly, had kneeled down onto the floor in front of me and was wanking my cock… I moved Jane over a bit so the girl could come in a bit closer, because she had started sucking on my cock… Jane was now watching the girl on the right sucking the monster cock and the girl on the floor sucking mine... The black guy must have had two or even more fingers inside Jane’s pussy and she was gripping his hand... to either make him slow down or pull it in more as she looked like she was so fucking turned on. The ecstasy we took earlier was definitely working now and making Jane do things she would never have done on wine or alcohol. The girl sucking my cock looked up at me and said, “Do you think she can take his cock in her tiny tight pussy?” I looked at Jane and she was just laying back with her head rolling from side to side as if to say, No way... it’s too big. But was then clearly pulling the black guys hand closer to her pussy so it looked like she wanted more...

Book excerpt: This is a collection of the "Asian wife" series of books written by DanteThey involve various themes from Swinger and Fetish clubs to Dogging and wife watching. The books are more or less in order of events but some parts of stories are also mentioned in other books like the Sex, drugs and Wife Watching in the Fetish / Swinger clubs which is an actual review of how Jane and Dave got in to the clubbing scene.Jane is from the Philippines and Dave is from the UK.Asian Wife series (14 books 80,730 words - An epic read so take your time and enjoy) - The First Time to a Fetish Swinger Club - First Time with a Stranger - First Time Dogging with Asian Wife - Asian Wife starts Webcam Work - Dogging after the Fetish Swinger club - Dogging with Dave - I Shared my Wife at the Penthouse Party - The Girl with a Tattoo on her Neck - Lost my Wife in the Fetish Club - Touched by a stranger (Coach and Cinema) - Asian Wife went with her Dads Friend - Sex, Drugs & Wife Watching in the Fetish / Swinger clubs - Cuckold Sexting with a Shared wifeExcerpt from book 1I looked around the club and several girls were walking around with their bare tits out or wearing just stockings and a basque and some had virtually nothing on at all... just a G string. Some guy was being led past us with a tall sexy girl holding on to his huge exposed and erect cock. I put my arm around Jane and she immediately hugged me and went to squeeze my cock. My god... she must be feeling horny as she has never done that before anywhere. Her eyes were looking all around the room as there were so many couples and single guys starting to dance or snog or even touch each other up in corners and on the dance floor. I started rubbing Jane's back while she was dancing and she was still squeezing my cock through the leather shorts. I had my hand up the back of her dress now and was cupping her soft sexy bum cheeks, just as another incredible wave of pleasure came over me and made me feel so uninhibited and really horny. While we were watching all the people dancing, I slid my finger down the cleft of her bum and slipped the tip of my finger in her tight little bum hole from behind. Jane let out a loud sigh and said, "Oh My God... that feels incredible!", and then unzipped my shorts and pulled my cock out. It was already hard and she was rubbing and pulling it and started leading me across the room holding onto my cock, just like the couple we saw earlier. She had definitely lost all her inhibitions and was really getting into the scene. The dance floor was heaving, so we went towards the curtained off dungeon play area and saw various people being used and abused with whips and canes on the BDSM equipment and toys. There was this tall and very attractive Indian girl bent over a horse box and was being whipped by this weird looking older fat guy who had a case full of different whips and straps. Each time he lashed her bum and upper thighs with a few strokes, he would then stop and caress her bum softly with his hand and then delve in between her legs and finger her. Then he pulled her knickers to one side so we could all see him fingering her arse and pussy together with 2 fingers before he went back to using a different whip on her. Fuck me that girl was an absolute vision and it was so horny to watch with Jane holding and squeezing my cock the whole time.I was groping Jane's arse and pussy from behind and playing with her tits with my other hand. I don't remember when, but at some point I must have undone the front part of Jane's dress as her tits were out and exposed for everyone near us to see. She didn't even try to cover herself... she just let me touch her and caress her tits as other couples stood near and watched. A couple of guys standing next to us were also staring and I noticed they had their hard cocks out and were stroking..

Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: In the last two decades, China has become a dramatically more urban society and hundreds of millions of people have changed residence in the process. Family and communal bonds have been broken in a country once known as "a society of kith and kin." There has been a pervasive sense of moral crisis in contemporary China, and the new market economy doesn't seem to offer any solutions. This book investigates how the Chinese have coped with the condition of modernity in which strangers are routinely thrust together. Haiyan Lee dismisses the easy answers claiming that this "moral crisis" is merely smoke and mirrors conjured up by paternalistic, overwrought leaders and scholars, or that it can be simply chalked up to the topsy-turvy of a market economy on steroids. Rather, Lee argues that the perception of crisis is itself symptomatic of a deeper problem that has roots in both the Confucian tradition of kinship and the modern state management of stranger sociality. This ambitious work is the first to investigate the figure of the stranger—foreigner, peasant migrant, bourgeois intellectual, class enemy, unattached woman, animal—across literature, film, television, and museum culture. Lee's aim is to show that hope lies with a robust civil society in which literature and the arts play a key role in sharpening the moral faculties and apprenticing readers in the art of living with strangers. In so doing, she makes a historical, comparative, and theoretically informed contribution to the on-going conversation on China's "(un)civil society."

Book excerpt: This book is an expanded, larger-format, and more highly illustrated version of a smaller book released by CEU Press in 2011. It presents and comments on an extensive set of religious and personal photographs and illustrations that depict people along with divine beings or absent loved ones. First, Christian examines the periodic appearances of Christ-like strangers in the Spanish countryside through the vision of a woman in La Mancha in 1931. Then he considers the long history of images with liquids on them not only for early modern Spain, but also in the United States, Italy and France in the 1940s and 1950s. The third and most extensive chapter addresses the iconography of illustrated depictions of divine and spirit beings in conjunction with humans and how its conventions were incorporated into commercial postcards and personal photographs, culminating in photo montages of families and their absent soldiers in World War I. The fourth theme is new to this edition. It compares the electric moments in Spanish communities when people ritually come into physical contact with saints and with animals, or transform themselves into saints or animals for ritual purposes. Over 50 of the color photographs by Spain's preeminent documentary photographer, Cristina García Rodero, are included.

Book excerpt: "Since 2007, Richard Renaldi has been working on a series of photographs that involve approaching and asking complete strangers to physically interact while posing together for a portrait. Working on the street with a large format eight-by-ten-inch view camera, Renaldi encounters the subjects for his photographs in towns and cities all over the United States. He pairs them up and invites them to pose together, intimately, in ways that people are usually taught to reserve for their close friends and loved ones. Renaldi creates spontaneous and fleeting relationships between strangers, for the camera, often pushing his subjects beyond their comfort levels. These relationships may only last for the moment the shutter is released, but the resulting photographs are moving and provocative, and raise profound questions about the possibilities for positive human connection in a diverse society. -- Provided by publisher."--Publisher's description.

He writes of the Chinese who laid tracks for the transcontinental railroad, of plantation laborers in the canefields of Hawaii, of "picture brides" marrying strangers in the hope of becoming part of the American dream. He tells stories of Japanese Americans behind the barbed wire of U.S. internment camps during World War II, Hmong refugees tragically unable to adjust to Wisconsin's alien climate & culture, & Asian American students stigmatized by the stereotype of the "model minority." This is a powerful & moving work that will resonate for all Americans, who together make up a nation of immigrants from other shores.

What is it that subliminally motivates people to give their best, not just what’s in their job description? How do you build an outstanding team? (Spoiler: it’s not just by putting the best people in a team.) The answer lies in the power of subliminal influence. This book explains in a clear and accessible way this important, yet little known and understood, area of psychology and leadership. As Emotional Intelligence helped managers and leaders to understand the importance of empathy in the workplace, Subliminal Leadership takes us to the next level by explaining how influence through non-verbal communication mostly happens below the threshold of our conscious awareness: subliminal forms of body language and communication which influence other people's attitudes, thinking and behavior – and which may boost, or undermine a leader's authority, the performance of teams or the quality of key customer relationships. Readers will learn how we unconsciously communicate and how we positively or negatively influence other people in the process. Understanding subliminal influence will help people in, or aspiring towards, leadership positions to build trust, understand others’ emotions, make better decisions, and strengthen professional relationships. Based on recent scientific research in disciplines as diverse as psychology, evolutionary biology, anthropology, medicine, neuroscience, and management studies, the book offers a breakthrough, multidisciplinary approach to influence and leadership. This book is for everyone interested in the psychological, biological, and medical dimensions of leadership.

Book excerpt: *Finalist for the Pulitzer Prize in Biography* *Winner of the 2020 National Book Critics Circle Award* *Winner of the PEN/Jacqueline Bograd Weld Award for Biography* A “captivating” (The Washington Post) work of history that explores the life of an unconventional woman during the first half of the 19th century in Edo—the city that would become Tokyo—and a portrait of a city on the brink of a momentous encounter with the West. The daughter of a Buddhist priest, Tsuneno was born in a rural Japanese village and was expected to live a traditional life much like her mother’s. But after three divorces—and a temperament much too strong-willed for her family’s approval—she ran away to make a life for herself in one of the largest cities in the world: Edo, a bustling metropolis at its peak. With Tsuneno as our guide, we experience the drama and excitement of Edo just prior to the arrival of American Commodore Perry’s fleet, which transformed Japan. During this pivotal moment in Japanese history, Tsuneno bounces from tenement to tenement, marries a masterless samurai, and eventually enters the service of a famous city magistrate. Tsuneno’s life provides a window into 19th-century Japanese culture—and a rare view of an extraordinary woman who sacrificed her family and her reputation to make a new life for herself, in defiance of social conventions. “A compelling story, traced with meticulous detail and told with exquisite sympathy” (The Wall Street Journal), Stranger in the Shogun’s City is “a vivid, polyphonic portrait of life in 19th-century Japan [that] evokes the Shogun era with panache and insight” (National Review of Books).

Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Long recognized as a master teacher at writing programs like VONA, the Loft, and the Stonecoast MFA, with A Stranger's Journey, David Mura has written a book on creative writing that addresses our increasingly diverse American literature. Mura argues for a more inclusive and expansive definition of craft, particularly in relationship to race, even as he elucidates timeless rules of narrative construction in fiction and memoir. His essays offer technique-focused readings of writers such as James Baldwin, ZZ Packer, Maxine Hong Kingston, Mary Karr, and Garrett Hongo, while making compelling connections to Mura's own life and work as a Japanese American writer. In A Stranger's Journey, Mura poses two central questions. The first involves identity: How is writing an exploration of who one is and one's place in the world? Mura examines how the myriad identities in our changing contemporary canon have led to new challenges regarding both craft and pedagogy. Here, like Toni Morrison's Playing in the Dark or Jeff Chang's Who We Be, A Stranger's Journey breaks new ground in our understanding of the relationship between the issues of race, literature, and culture. The book's second central question involves structure: How does one tell a story? Mura provides clear, insightful narrative tools that any writer may use, taking in techniques from fiction, screenplays, playwriting, and myth. Through this process, Mura candidly explores the newly evolved aesthetic principles of memoir and how questions of identity occupy a central place in contemporary memoir.

Book excerpt: Captain Leonie Strider and her crew, stranded in a galaxy millions of parsecs from the Solar System, have helped the so-called Ancient Species of The Wondervale defeat the tyrannical Autarch Nalla. But all too soon the remaining warlords are fighting among each other. Before too long the genocidal Kaantalech emerges as the new Autarch. With the outcome looking desperate for the Ancient Species, only Strider and a handful of crewmates decide to remain in The Wondervale to help. If she is to lead the Ancient Species to victory and restore order to The Wondervale, Strider must not only battle the colossal power of Kaantalech but also find a way to overcome an even older danger that threatens to destroy them all . . . At the publisher's request, this title is sold without DRM (Digital Rights Management). Combining high-powered space action, a gaggle of bizarre aliens -- both friend and foe -- and passions that are all too recognizably human, Strider's Universe continues the epic space opera begun in Strider's Galaxy, of which Stan Nicholls wrote in Time Out: [Strider's Galaxy] discards restraint and lets rip. Unashamedly occupying the pure entertainment end of the spectrum, this is a primary-colors read -- exotic, extravagant, zingy. Pipe-and-slippers science fiction it isn't.

Book excerpt: First published in 1998, this volume dwells upon the socio-political problem of "under-representation" at great length within the context of immigration through analysis of Turkish immigrants within the "cosy" country of Denmark on the European Periphery. The main purpose has been to show the fictitious and constructed character of the identities that are normally presupposed and taken for granted. Bülent Diken attempts to "defamiliarize" the familiar notions of the "immigrant" and what is taken for granted in the field of immigration. To counter this, Diken allows the "immigrant" to speak throughout interviews. In addition, the study dwells on local and central state policies and planning. This requires a merger of social theory with research on immigration as well as (social and physical) planning, in this case in a Danish context with an examination on how the application of planning and urban politics are oriented toward immigrants. Together with an interest in political and discursive "strategies", the "tactics" used by immigrants in coping with these strategies are focused on at length.

Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: This volume surveys transnational encounters and entanglements between Germany and East Asia since 1945, a period that has witnessed unprecedented global connections between the two regions. It examines their sociopolitical and cultural connections through a variety of media. Since 1945, cultural flow between Germany and East Asia has increasingly become bidirectional, spurred by East Asian economies’ unprecedented growth. In exploring their dynamic and evolving relations, this volume emphasizes how they have negotiated their differences and have frequently cooperated toward common goals in meeting the challenges of the contemporary world. Given their long-standing historical differences, their post-1945 relations reveal a surprisingly high degree of affinity in many areas. To show how they have deeply shaped each other’s views, this volume presents 12 chapters by scholars from the fields of history, sinology, sociology, literature, music, and film. Topics include cultural topics, such as German and Swiss writers on East Asia (Enzensberg, Muschg, and Kreitz), Japanese writer on Germany (Tezuka and Tawada), German commemorative culture in Korea, Beethoven in China, metal music in Germany and Japan, diary films on Japan (Wenders), as well as sociopolitical topics, such as Sino– East German diplomacy, Germans and Korean democracy, and Japanes and Korean communities in Germany.

Book excerpt: Almond eyes, jet-black hair, long legs, and a body that's a walking invitation to the bedroom . . . Travis first noticed Chloe when he was her professor in Hong Kong. Now they're married, home in California, in a sea of envious stares. Every guy has eyes for Travis's hot twenty-four-year-old Asian wife. Travis doesn't mind. He enjoys it, he thinks. Chloe was shy when she arrived in America, but Travis introduced her to the nightlife. Men stared. She flirted. Travis allowed it. It never went farther than that. There were boundaries. But tonight, six-foot-six star linebacker Clayton Sizemore notices Chloe. One look at her body, and Clayton knows what Travis's wife is hungry for. Clayton's muscles, his size, and his huge hairy chest peeking out fom under his dress shirt catch Chloe's lustful fascination. What happened to those boundaries? If Chloe is breaking the rules, why isn't Travis stopping her? Travis should be furious, but the only fire he feels is excitement. And he can't stop fantasizing about helping his wife clean up. But Chloe is holding Clayton's hand, whispering in his ear, sneaking kisses... is it really just a one-time thing? Is Clayton still only a fling? Or will Travis forever lose his wife to a superior man? It's an outrage. It's a hot Asian wife's infidelity. It's Travis's wildest dream and his worst nightmare. It's a husband cleaning up after another man. It's Sharing Chloe.
