Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Two of our basic physical needs as humans are for food and drink. God, our creator placed within us a trigger switch that lets us know that our body is hungry and or thirsty. This happens in our natural bodies. That same principle is operating in our spirit, the part that God gave to every human. This spirit has a longing that only He can completely fill. Some try various things and ideologies and still come up empty, but Jesus is saying, "Come unto me, all ye that labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls" (Matthew 11:28-29, KJV, Emphasis mine). He is the only One who can supply, or better yet, fill that need. He made you and He know all about you and still says, come. Come with a Hunger, Come with a Thirst, Be Filled to Overflow was written for people who have a need, an emptiness that nothing has completely satisfied or filled. It is a God-induced hunger and thirst that He purposely placed in everyone. Many have "bumped" into Him along the way, not realizing at the time that He had set up the meeting. He cares that much and wants to completely fill those hungry and thirsty places. Matthew 5:6 states, "They shall be filled." This narrative, as I call it, is not one where you must start at the beginning to get a full understanding as to what is being addressed. If one chooses to start at the end or in the middle, it will be okay because all of it is about the multifaceted Holy God and how He has always had a plan to give each and every one what was needed in their life, and that included you! If you choose not to start at the beginning, you will still find His richness interwoven throughout the pages. He so much wants to fill each of us with what is needed to face and live this life while enlightening others along this journey. In some areas you will find it to be a devotional that day, giving direction for the many changes and challenges life brings. At times, you may find yourself laughing as you begin to see Jesus as both man and God, experiencing life as you do with its ups and downs. Tears of joy may fall from time to time because your spirit is in agreement by the thoughts He has been giving to you and now it is right before your eyes. Prepare to learn of some mysteries that you may have never heard before, but wondered about this never-ending Love story between humans and Divinity. God BLESS!

Book excerpt: Understanding the dimensions and mechanics of the bible is far crucial in understanding of the bible itself. Fresh and new revelations will be like links on the chain when you read the bible from cover to cover with this very nature in mind. Bible is no different to the concept of a jigsaw puzzle. All the individual 66 books and epistles that sum up the bible are incomplete in its individuality. You can find that missing jigsaw piece nowhere but within the vicinity of the bible itself. For instance, Genesis without the other 65 books and epistles is incomplete and so forth. Oracles in the bible are scattered and blended with other testimonial experience so that an ordinary mind will look but shall not see and listen but cannot hear. The Pharisees, High Priests and the Jewish authorities opposed and rejected Jesus for their lack of awareness about the dynamics of the bible. You are very blessed for discovering this GOLDEN SECRET about the divinity of the bible. Moreover, the bible is an encyclopedia of its own having answers to its own questions and all the questions mankind can ever think of. In other words, bible itself is the absolute and divine meaning of COMPLETION lacking nothing. In it is fullness of life, health, wealth, prosperity, authority and power without lack of any kind for it is a piece of God's mind and heart constrained to mankind's calling and thinking cap. In God is fullness of life so shall be it for His inspired book of all times The Holy Bible.

Book excerpt: In works of Western literature ranging from Homer’s Odyssey to Albee’s Who’s Afraid of Virginia Woolf? the giving and taking of hospitality is sometimes pleasurable, but more often perilous. Heffernan traces this leitmotiv through the history of our greatest writings, including Christ’s Last Supper, Macbeth’s murder of his royal guest, and Camus’s short story on French colonialism in Arab Algeria. By means of such examples and many more, this book considers what literary hosts, hostesses, and guests do to as well as for each other. In doing so, it shows how often treachery rends the fabric of trust that hospitality weaves.

The Bible is full of fascinating, powerful, and faithful women, as well as lessons that have unique meaning for women today." Separate sidebars cover topics such as midwifery, women disciples, and female images of God. The Women's Study Bible doesn't shy away from the difficult issues, but helps readers to understand them better in both their original context and the modern world." Book excerpt: ABOUT THIS BOOK A comparison puts two things together, revealing similarities. In a parable, these two are from different areas of life. One is of everyday, and leads to a Verdict all can readily agree. The second, summed up in a Judgment, puts forward a moral claim, and is debateable. But if you agreed to the Verdict you might well feel you ought to accept the Judgment as well - especially if neighbours are listening! This book reviews all the gospel parables, showing how they fit this pattern. It also considers various placings and groupings, endings and pegs which come with them in the gospels; and wonders why so many have come down to us Judgment-free. Any reader who uses arguments can make out where a parable is going, and why its Verdict was agreed, and whether that let them in for the Judgment too. But where no Judgment was given, there the guessing must begin.
