Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: LES MECANISMES DETAILLES DE CINETIQUE CHIMIQUE SONT DIFFICILES A PRENDRE EN COMPTE LORSQU'ILS SONT INCLUS DANS DES CODES DE CALCULS SIMULANT DES PROCESSUS DE COMBUSTION MULTIDIMENSIONNELS. IL FAUT DONC AVOIR RECOURS A DES PROCEDES DE REDUCTION DES SYSTEMES CHIMIQUES, SANS PERDRE TROP D'INFORMATIONS SUR LA DYNAMIQUE GLOBALE DE CES SYSTEMES. LE NOMBRE DES EQUATIONS DIFFERENTIELLES DECRIVANT LA CINETIQUE CHIMIQUE EST REDUIT A L'AIDE D'UN DECOUPLAGE DES PROCESSUS LENTS ET RAPIDES. DEUX TYPES DE METHODES SONT PROPOSES POUR SIMPLIFIER LES SYSTEMES CHIMIQUES. LA PREMIERE METHODE EST DEVELOPPEE A PARTIR DES CONCEPTS DE LA DYNAMIQUE DES SYSTEMES. UNE TELLE APPROCHE EST BASEE SUR L'ESTIMATION DES VALEURS PROPRES DE LA MATRICE JACOBIENNE AU VOISINAGE DES POINTS FIXES. UNE ANALYSE DE STABILITE DE TOUS LES POINTS FIXES DU MODELE DE LORENZ 9D EST AINSI EFFECTUEE. DES PROPRIETES DE SYMETRIE EN SONT DEDUITES ET UNE ETUDE DES BIFURCATIONS EST REALISEE. POUR UN MODELE DECRIVANT UNE REACTION CHIMIQUE, L'OBTENTION DE TOUS LES POINTS FIXES ET L'ANALYSE DE STABILITE DE CHACUN D'EUX PERMETTENT D'IDENTIFIER LES VARIABLES IMPLIQUEES DANS LES PROCESSUS RAPIDES ET CELLES INTERVENANT DANS LES PHENOMENES LENTS. DES MODELES REDUITS SONT ELABORES EN APPLIQUANT DES APPROXIMATIONS CLASSIQUES. DEUX SYSTEMES DE DIMENSIONS 4 ET 5 ISSUS D'UN MODELE DE BELOUSOV-ZHABOTINSKII 7D SONT ALORS CONSTRUITS. MAIS, LA METHODE NE PEUT S'APPLIQUER SUR DES MODELES DE COMBUSTION CAR LES METHODES DE RECHERCHE DE POINTS FIXES ECHOUENT. C'EST POURQUOI, UNE AUTRE PROCEDURE POUR SIMPLIFIER LES SYSTEMES CHIMIQUES EST ELABOREE. CETTE TECHNIQUE CONSISTE A PREDIRE LES EVOLUTIONS DU SYSTEME CHIMIQUE CONSIDERE A L'AIDE D'UNE DECOMPOSITION SUR LA BASE DES VECTEURS PROPRES. DES APPROXIMATIONS RELATIVES AUX EVOLUTIONS RAPIDES SONT APPLIQUEES. UN MODELE REDUIT EST AINSI CONSTRUIT.

Book Synopsis Cinétique et dynamique des réactions chimiques by : Mehran Mostafavi
Download or read book Cinétique et dynamique des réactions chimiques written by Mehran Mostafavi and published by EDP Sciences. This book was released on 2015-03-12 with total page 373 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle.

This book was released on 2000 with total page 151 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: ORIGINALEMENT CONSACRE A L'ETUDE DE SYSTEMES MODELES DE REACTION CHIMIQUE EN MILIEU BIOLOGIQUE, CE TRAVAIL S'EST DANS UN PREMIER TEMPS TOURNE VERS L'ETUDE DE PROBLEMES DE CINETIQUE DANS LE CAS OU LA DYNAMIQUE DE THERMALISATION DE LA COORDONNEE REACTIONNELLE, SOUS-TENDUE PAR UN ENVIRONNEMENT COMPLEXE, PEUT ETRE MODELISEE PAR UNE EQUATION DE LANGEVIN GENERALISEE. ON MONTRE QUE LA MEILLEURE THEORIE PREDICTIVE DE LA REACTION CHIMIQUE POUR CES SITUATIONS CESSE D'ETRE PERTINENTE DANS CERTAINS CAS, CARACTERISEES PAR UN PEUPLEMENT ANORMAL EN BASSES FREQUENCES DANS LA DENSITE SPECTRALE DES MODES THERMIQUES. CES DYSFONCTIONNEMENTS SONT RENCONTRES DANS BIEN DES SITUATIONS REELLES OU L'ENVIRONNEMENT MET EN JEU LES MEMES TEMPS TYPIQUES QUE LA COORDONNEE REACTIONNELLE ELLE-MEME, ET OU LA FORCE DU COUPLAGE RESTE FAIBLE. ON PROPOSE AUSSI UNE AMELIORATION DE LA THEORIE QUI TIENT COMPTE DES EFFETS NEGLIGES, ET QUI ILLUSTRE LE ROLE PRIMORDIAL DES CORRELATIONS DANS LES PROBLEMES HORS D'EQUILIBRE. DANS UNE MACROMOLECULE, L'ENVIRONNEMENT DU SITE ACTIF EST UN RESEAU TRES DEFORMABLE A LA DYNAMIQUE FORTEMENT NON LINEAIRE. ON S'EST DONC ENSUITE INTERESSE A LA NATURE DES FLUCTUATIONS DE TELS RESEAUX NON LINEAIRES DISCRETS. CE PROBLEME REJOINT AUSSI UNE QUESTION PLUS GENERALE, QUI EST LA CARACTERISATION A L'EQUILIBRE THERMIQUE DES EXCITATIONS LOCALISEES QUE PEUVENT EXHIBER DE TELS SYSTEMES A LA FOIS NON LINEAIRES ET DISCRETS. EN EFFET, CES BREATHER-MODES, SOLUTIONS PARTICULIERES ET EXACTES DE LA DYNAMIQUE HAMILTONIENNE, SONT EN GENERAL PEU MOBILES ET NOUS MONTRONS QUE LEUR EFFET DANS UN SYSTEME THERMALISE CONSISTE EN UN RALENTISSEMENT DRASTIQUE DE LA DIFFUSION DE L'ENERGIE, QUI DEVIENT ANORMALE. D'AUTRES INDICATEURS STATISTIQUES, TELS LES TEMPS DE PERSISTANCE PAR EXEMPLE, MONTRENT AUSSI LES SPECIFICITES DE CES SYSTEMES. ENFIN, L'EXTRACTION D'UNE EQUATION DE DIFFUSION NON STANDARD EST TENTEE A L'AIDE DE METHODES D'OPERATEURS DE PROJECTION SUR L'ESPACE DES PHASES.

Book Synopsis Nonlinear Phenomena in Chemical Dynamics by : C. Vidal
Download or read book Nonlinear Phenomena in Chemical Dynamics written by C. Vidal and published by Springer Science & Business Media. This book was released on 2012-12-06 with total page 287 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: An international conference. titled Nonlinear Phenomena in Chemical Dynamics was held in Bordeaux on September 7-11, 1981. The present volume contains the text of lectures and abstracts of posters presented during the meeting. This conference is part of a series of scientific multidisciplinary meetings in which chemistry is involved at various levels. Amongst the most recent ones let us mention Aachen 1979, Bielefeld 1979, New York 1979, Elmau 1981. In addition, this meeting is a direct extension of the first one that took place in Bordeaux in 1978 on the topic "Far from equilibrium: instabilities and structures," at the conclusions of which we could write (cf. Far fram Equilibrium, Springer Series in Synergetics, Vol. 3): "The three key words, far fram equilibriUm, instabilities and structuPes, best illustrate the new concepts which emerge from the description of the dynamics of various systems relevant to many different research areas. " The present proceedings show how much these remarks have remained true, even though substantial progress has been achieved during the three last years. To get a ,deeper experimental knowledge of open reacting systems, to model and simulate reaction-diffusion systems, to develop the mathematical theory of dynamical sys tems, these are the main direction~ in current investigations.

Download or read book Modeling of Living Systems written by Alain Pavé and published by John Wiley & Sons. This book was released on 2012-12-27 with total page 501 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Modeling is now one of the most efficient methodologies in life sciences. From practice to theory, this book develops this approach illustrated by many examples; general concepts and the current state of the art are also presented and discussed. An historical and general introduction informs the reader how mathematics and formal tools are used to solve biological problems at all levels of the organization of life. The core of this book explains how this is done, based on practical examples coming, for the most part, from the author’s personal experience. In most cases, data are included so that the reader can follow the reasoning process and even reproduce calculus. The final chapter is devoted to essential concepts and current developments. The main mathematical tools are presented in an appendix to the book and are written in an adapted language readable by scientists, professionals or students, with a basic knowledge of mathematics.

Download or read book Synergetics written by A. Pacault and published by Springer Science & Business Media. This book was released on 2012-12-06 with total page 188 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: This volume gathers most of the lectures and communications presented at the meeting t held in Bordeaux from the 27th to the 29 h of September and entitled "Far from equi librium : instabilities and structures". This meeting is part of a series of seve ral other interdisciplinary conferences such as Elmau 1972, London 1974, Dortmund 1976, Elmau 1977, Tokyo 1978. The old science classification scheme proposed by Auguste Comte tends to be eve ry day a bit more blurred out: one gives here, if needed, one additional illustra tion of this trend. The three key words "far from equilibrium", "instabilities" and "structures" best illustrate the new concepts which emerge from the description of the dynamics of various systems relevant to many different research areas. Laser emission, chemical reactions, fluid motions, exhibit very particular phenomena when, under appropriate external action, they occur far from equilibrium. These proceedings include the experimental description of such phenomena as well as theoretical at tempts in understanding them. Most of the topics investigated here belong to the domains of physics and chemistry but one should be careful not to underestimate the underlying potential biological interest. If the study of simple systems (e. g. , described by a few variables) has been qui te successful for several centuries, the recent bearing of our attention on complex systems constitutes a genuine epistemological breakthrough bridging the gap which used to exist between the sciences and the humanism.
Book Synopsis Geochemical and Biogeochemical Reaction Modeling by : Craig M. Bethke
Download or read book Geochemical and Biogeochemical Reaction Modeling written by Craig M. Bethke and published by Cambridge University Press. This book was released on 2010-12-09 with total page 564 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: This book provides a comprehensive overview of reaction processes in the Earth's crust and on its surface, both in the laboratory and in the field. A clear exposition of the underlying equations and calculation techniques is balanced by a large number of fully worked examples. The book uses The Geochemist's Workbench® modeling software, developed by the author and already installed at over 1000 universities and research facilities worldwide. Since publication of the first edition, the field of reaction modeling has continued to grow and find increasingly broad application. In particular, the description of microbial activity, surface chemistry, and redox chemistry within reaction models has become broader and more rigorous. These areas are covered in detail in this new edition, which was originally published in 2007. This text is written for graduate students and academic researchers in the fields of geochemistry, environmental engineering, contaminant hydrology, geomicrobiology, and numerical modeling.
