Book Synopsis Amos the Alligator by : Rozell Giesie
Download or read book Amos the Alligator written by Rozell Giesie and published by . This book was released on 2014-03 with total page 30 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: The little alligator, Amos, finds a new home with a family of pigs. This is until he grew so big that he had to leave the protection of the pig pen and was discovered on the farm by the family dog. The farmer allowed the children to keep the gator in a pond. As one would expect with attempting to keep an alligator as a pet, there is sure to be trouble and adventure ahead. These range from dealings with mischievous raccoons, floods and even meeting another alligator. Rozell Peikert Giesie grew up on a farm in the tiny South Texas community of Egypt. Growing up on the farm was always an adventure, especially when it involved her sister, or one of her five brothers. There was always something to do with the pets, farm animals and the endless imagination of a group of kids. It was some of these life adventures that led her to write this and other stories of growing up in the mid 1930's to 1950's. Rozell married Ernest Giesie, and they have three children, six grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
